This is honestly one of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen.

mostly white plains, bronxville, and rye. we do run our power off of generators, but if we cant get our trucks there and significant other damage, or flooding obviously, i'd say we wont be able to work. plus, the towns themselves could say, "nope. sorry guys. still under emergency situations here."

also, just from the standpoint of the show and script. this is supposed to be upper middle class. pretty people. rich people. it completely changes the feel of the show if you have scenes where the actors hair is flying around or the extras dresses are flapping uncontrollably. this is the first time you are seeing this place where these people live. if it looks dark and stormy--the audience will believe its always dark and stormy.

When the storm rolls out, I can't recommend Rye Roadhouse enough. I lived in Westchester for a little bit. White Plains bar scene on Mamaroneck is OK, but if you need to eat real food at a real place - Rye Roadhouse.

Meanwhile, I'm in Boston now and the storm hasn't quite arrived. Hope everyone on the east coast is prepared.

All you East Coasters please be safe. These Hurricanes are no joke. Even after the eye passes you will still have the heavy rain/wind and strong surf surge.

The aftermath may be worse. No electric, water, gas and heavy traffic.

GO D BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually live in CT, but 15 minutes from Rye. My office is actually in the White Plains area. It's time to hunker down and roll with at this point.

Checkin in from the Jersey burbs. Lost power an hour ago. Hopefully it'll be back up within a reasonable time. I know some people that were out for days during the bad winter storm. Aside from that, can't complain so far. Pretty windy but not too scary yet. We'll see though, I think we're coming up on what's supposed to be the worst of it.

Still got power and everything. Bring it on bitch!

For Irene last summer I had no power for 5 days.

Just windy right now, but it seems South Jersey is taking the brunt of the storm. Prayers to everyone in that area. I know Rashad Kinlaw is near Atlantic City and they got pummeled.

Somewhere in NJ

Those tend to turn out to be photoshops. People find a picture of a splash in flood waters and paste in a shark shadow underneath.

Stay safe, everyone. We took a similar hit this year in Isaac (lost power for 9 days, ran out of gas for the generators on day 7, missed the Navy game). Be sure to gas up the generators and any spare tanks you have and grab enough food, booze and water to last you several days. Even once the roads are cleared, a lot of food stores will have lost power and you can't pump gas without it.

Checkin in from south jersey right outside philadelphia. Its pretty bad. Winds are howling, tranformers blowing up all over the place, trees down everywhere (including landing on my house, luckily it didnt break through). The shore points of NJ need prayers. Theyre being demolished.

Getting awfully windy here just west of Philly. Hoping that everyone stays safe.

NJ Governor, Chris Christie, not happy at all with the Atlantic City mayor: Chris Christie Slams Atlantic City Mayor For Keeping Residents In The Path Of Hurricane Sandy - YouTube

Christie was right. Atlantic City is a catastrophie. That idiot knew what was going on. Look up pictures of AC. Its submerged, AC has a huge area of poor people whose houses are shotty at best. Theyll be a lot of dead

Totally agree. The National Guard is now involved. Total mess!

Hell must be coming because all of Cleveland is shutting down tomorrow. My kids school, my school and my wife's school are all out. This is like nothing I've ever seen before. Unreal

Not to take anything away from the seriousness of the situation the coast is going through with this storm, but if the its not too horrendous in Cleveland tomorrow, you should really go to the lakefront to see the lake. They are expecting 14-22 foot waves on Lake Erie. It will be an event that you you may never see again in your lifetime (hopefully).
