So next April we are getting hitched ( Spring wedding so we don't conflict with ND games). Anyways we are heading to Ireland and London, for the folks who have been across the pond what are some must see stuff we need to do? We are down to do anything just not sure what to do. Thanks for future answers.

This might sound lame but it was honestly my favorite part of my trip to London. Don't make any specific plans one night, but go out to dinner and then just walk along the Thames. It won't cost you a dime and you will never forget it. London along the Thames is gorgeous at night.

You and your fiancee have much different goals for your honeymoon than we did.

Are you dead set on the entirety of your trip being just Ireland and London? I'd definitely explore the countryside a bit. See a castle or two.

Hope you have fun fancy pants. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the Bestwestern. They didn't even have a continental breakfast.

A few years ago we made a trip a to London. We stayed at the Grosvenor, which is in walking distance of all the main attractions in downtown London. Also, depending on how long you're staying I would recommend taking a day trip to Paris, it's only a few hour train ride, and it's worth it. We went to the Louvre and the Eiffel tower. Kind of a check the block thing. Have fun.

Smart man.

Wish I had good advice on a honeymoon, but my wife and I never took one...not yet anyway.

Yeah... Still missing the ND/FSU game for our wedding..... Haven't found a way out yet.

We just booked ours to St. Lucia. We've never done an all inclusive before so wanted that for a honeymoon. Europe is on the docket, but not til we're 50 haha.

This isn't very relevant to your situation (unless you're open to going somewhere other than the UK/ Ireland), but I'm a big fan of cruise vacations in general (and especially on honeymoons). You don't have to worry about hotels, rental cars, or restaurants. Minimal stress/ planning, but tons of options.

Without even leaving the ship, you can: (1) lie out by the pool and read; (2) drink yourself stupid in relative safety; (3) dance; (4) gamble; (5) stuff your face with gourmet food at all hours of the night; (6) or stay in your cabin and explore the joys of marital congress.

If you're feeling adventurous, get off the ship and spend the day exploring, para-sailing, whatever. But if you're not feeling it, you can always wait for the next port. My wife and I spent 3 days on Maui before doing a week-long cruise of the islands for our honeymoon, and it was amazing. Looking forward to cruising the Grecian isles for our 10-year-anniversary.

I hope it's late April...

April is the month when the fog lessens. You are looking at high temps in the mid 40's to mid 50's fog, rain and general gloom. This makes me think you are a most pragmatic chap... Most people go on a honeymoon that is a fantasy, something that will in no way mirror the life that lays before them. London in April is definitely the perfect metaphor for marriage. Gloom, whilst walking in an endless fog with only a pub to temporarily lift your spirits.

In all seriousness, best wishes to you and your bride... may you make a new Irish fan while on the Emerald Isle!

We are taking a cruise out south Hampton , going to London and Ireland because we prob won't be able to trip to Europe anytime soon again
