You won't be disappointed by the payout of the last heist. Invest it wisely afterwards. I learned the hard way and did the assassinations as they came. I had about 500k for each player but I couldn't do the stock right for some reason so instead of sitting on 100's of millions. I'm sitting on 25 million-ish with only 2 players. I'm probably going to restart a new game and do it all over again.

To the people who say they may start over and do the campaign again....f that, i absolutely love this game but once i beat every thing about it i wont touch it for awhile. This game is so god damn time consuming i would like to have a social life back for a bit

Alright I seem to be stuck here. On my map theres a "B" for an FIB mission in at a liquor store in Sandy Shores. However, whenever I try to start the mission with either Michael or Trevor, nothing happens. No yellow circle or anything. I go there with Franklin, and it says to come back as either Michael or Trevor. Any help?

FYI, Mike and Trevor are exiled from Los Santos from kidnapping the wife of the crime boss. That was the last main mission I completed.

try taking a taxi to the location as Michael or Trevor. Sometimes the mission markers have a hard time loading.

I must have missed it...

I just mean that it's my one beef with the game. The heists are crazy good money, but the missions in between that first heist and the last two don't give crap for cash. In fact, most NPCs don't give you any cash for missions it seems. It would be nice if there was a repeatable mission that paid out decent cash so you could invest in properties throughout the game. Something that paid 20-50k or so for 10-20 minutes of work. I haven't found anything like this though. Races are the closest thing I've found for okay cash, but at $5k a pop you have to do a ton of races to get even a cheap property.

I tried to get online last night and got to the first intro race then it was just spinning for 20 minutes. How does it determine who is in your world? I understand if you are in a crew you are obviously with then but do others not in a crew just get randomly assigned?

I can't stand Assassin's Creed games. The games always have potential, but yearly installments kill any sense of originality or polish.

AC3 was a train wreck IMO.

It definitely had it's flaws. I like warships in the age of sail...so it's kind of taunting me.

I don't feel like playing GTA5 anymore. I have trouble hopping on without missions.

Yea I joined last night. There is just 3-4 of us right now. I will likely be in tonight after we get beat.

Also a note to those that haven't tried the online yet, you have to do a couple preset missions before you can interact with the other players in your world. At first I was all pissed because I couldn't figure out where other players were but after some tutorials they will show up on your map. Also don't just randomly approach someone trying to team up. They will most likely shoot you in the face. Invite them to join one of your challenges or mission to establish the trust. Everyone is a gun wielding psycho in free roam.

Yup, this is true. It somewhat helps to run around in Passive Mode as people won't go actively searching you out, but it doesn't protect you. If you're in your car they can still fire into it and kill you, which should be fixed imo. If you're on foot they can still run you over. Passive mode is still better than not though, because if you're standing around for even a minute, theres a chance someone will come checking on you.

I'm rank 25 now, and I've found two ways to handle these people so they don't mess with you again. I've rigged my car with a bomb, since people like to jack it lately (It's easy to spot and all modded out). I'll be standing in a store, then BOOM. So satisfying. The other thing is, if I find someone that tries to mess with me when I'm in passive mode and doing missions, I'll take the Marine helicopter with the crane, pickup their car and put it on a skyscraper If they have a garage they can easily call their mechanic to get their car back. If they do look like they've got money, I just pickup the car and drop it to cause an explosion. Too bad you can't pick it up with them inside.

Question for you guys that have been online. I stole the first car and made it mine by putting the tracker & insurance on it. After a couple times playing since then, I cant find the car now and I don't see the icon for it. How the hell do I use the insurance to get it back???

You have to call the insurance company. Should be in your contacts or on the web on your phone.

It's pretty short, just a dead end under the highway next to the strip club. Clear out the Lost, drop off the coke, easy $9k. After the mission you can hit "Restart" before you get to the voting screen and you can do it as many times as you want. $9k for 2 minutes of work is the fastest money making opportunity I've found. Not only that, but I went from rank 25 to 30 in less than a few hours.

Aaaaand, now I'm hearing that Rockstar reduced the payout to $3k today. What a joke! They've got bigger fish to fry, like characters getting deleted, and they're screwing with the most profitable mission (by time investment). It was a good mission for those that had characters deleted. It wasn't an exploit or needed to be tweaked, it just happened to be the most sensible option for making cash. Tomorrow it'll be something else. The sad part is that $9k is paltry compared to what Heists probably will be...and people wouldn't have needed to farm the mission if Rockstar had Heists in from the start. My guess is Heists were held back to begin with so Rockstar could milk players into buying their in game money. I think this company is quickly turning into the next EA.

Aaaand....now my cars are both missing from my garage in Online Unbelievable. The Elegy was free, but the Banshee cost me $100k, and each had at least $100k in mods put into them. The Elegy I built up over the last week with Armor, Bulletproof tires, the works. This sucks.

.So, in looking for a new way to make some money last night (since my cars decided to poof and Violent Duct was no longer a feasible option), I may have found a nice little money making option that also allows you to unlock locked car parts and made quite a bit of Rank Points:



It requires at least you and one other person, although we did it with 3 people total this morning. Hit the start button, go to the Jobs section, go to Races. In the Races section theres a race called "Take Off" or something like that. It's essentially a figure eight, flat race at the airport with no obstructions and it takes 1 minute or less to complete the lap. Now, set the number of laps to 1, and make the other race settings favorable (Good weather, midday, no traffic, etc). Invite a buddy to join you to the race. Pick one person to win the race ahead of time. That person bets $2500 on themselves, while the other person bets $100 on their own car (Yes, that racer will lose that money). Complete the fixed race. The winner will get about $3700 for a 1 minute race ($4600 I think for 3 people), plus $1000 from winning the bet. They'll also get credited with a race win, which helps unlock parts. You'll also get anywhere from 600 RP (Last place) to 1200 RP (3 person race). The best part? You can replay this kind of mission from the voting screen (This is after patch 1.03 too).
One note - if you're doing 3 people in a race, two people can bet on the fixed winner beforehand and both make money, but at least one other person will have to bet on a loser. If everyone bets on the same person then all bets get disabled (Rockstar must have foreseen fixed races).


Try it out with a buddy, let me know if you guys like it. It seems like a lot of text there, but once you get in a rhythm you can knock out a race every 2 minutes roughly (If you add in loading and such). With 3 of us racing and alternating wins I was getting $10,000 after the 3 man race rotation and we were doing a new race every 2-3 minutes. I also went from Rank 30 to 42

Hell, I don't think any NPCs give you any money in this game, aside from Lester (Although he's just trying to get paid himself). When I get the opportunity to take one of these NPCs out, they gone.

I mean Franklin does the assassination missions, where you can make a good chunk of change by investing in the market. I'm leaving those missions till the end when he has the most amount of money though, so I can maximize the profit. The paparazzi missions are pretty hilarious.
