I don't believe that you can wait to finish all of the heists...I tried that! I think he forces you do the first couple, I'm holding off until it makes me do any more.

Lester makes you do the first Assassination mission, but I just finished the main story and the rest of the Assassination missions are still available! Plus, I don't think the stock market moves after you off the first target.

The green one is always down for me as well. I can't seem to find the rival companies to invest in during the assasinations so I haven't been able to make cash that way. I'm going to try to blow up the Taco places since I have money in CluckinBell. Also, if you invest in the radio stations...play them while driving and the stock goes up. Easy enough

If it's available, I think Burger Shot is the rival company of CluckinBell. I could be wrong though. Theres also an UpNAtom Burger I think, but I've heard people have been buyin' CluckinBell and blowing up Burger Shot, or visversa.

Also, about the green market, I read that it revolves mostly around the GTA community I guess. As people buy more guns at Ammunation and other companies, the stock goes up. Thats probably why generally that market has been going up. The white market is mostly offline. There ARE certain things that will affect the green market quickly in game though. For instance, I picked up a random guy on the side of the road that was running late for a flight. I got him to the airport on time, and he gave me a stock tip to invest in a specific green market stock (Tinkle I think) for a big payoff coming. Sure enough, shortly after our meeting the stock jumped something like 33%, not a bad return for a short 2 minute mission.

The green one is tied to the Social club which could explain why it may be down for a lot of people.

I swear no matter what I do in the stock market... invest in Taco Bomb and blow up Cluck trucks or invest in other places and frequent their business I always lose money...

I found this after I had already completed some of them, and the main story already...
would have really helped with the $$$$$

Read the guide! It's different after each one...in fact, one of them you should wait til AFTER the kill to buy anything.

Hey guys just a heads up. If you buy a property press start IMMEDIATELY after confirming your purchase. Then select a mission to replay. When you die/beat the mission you still have the property but haven't spent any money!

I wouldn't normally cheat but it's completely insane how long it takes to get your money back on property. For some of these it takes up to 300 hours after purchasing to get it back!

I hit about 175 million a piece with all 3 of mine. The Golf Course purchase and all of the movie theatres cut down Michael and Franklin's coinage quite a bit...But Trevor is sitting pretty at 166 million in the bank.
Franklin and Michael will be pulling in a large amount every week to subsidize their losses. No worries for my boys!

The only thing you will struggle with if you don't abuse the market with some decent coin up front is buying the golf course at 150 million, and buying all 3 movie theatres, 60 million total.

It's more about my general distaste for how they did the money with the property. It's worth it on properties that give you some sort of missions, but property that doesn't? It takes up to 300 hours just to make your money back. That's stupid. I'm not going to spend 300 hours on a game after I've bought every property in the game, even a game as massive as this.

It's all in the thumbs boys.
For helos...manipulating the camera to show the top down view is super helpful whilst landing.

I have thumbstick extensions on both of my DS3 controllers though.

Hold up every convenience store and gas station you can enter.
Complete races.
Kill people to take their money...camp outside of an ATM machine!
When you stop someone who stole someone's money (random event), don't return the money...keep it!
Hidden packages are worth $$$

Ummm it requires the purchase of a property and completion of some missions that go along with it.
