saw that the other day. I thought I could still maybe break 6, but after watching that I'm not very confident in myself.

They're not going to beat us either way. But closing out the season with something closer to 2024/10-2 Syracuse, instead of 2025/3-9 Syracuse, would be a nice little bump to our strength of schedule. Rooting for Steve here.

What I'd like to have as a fantasy is our guy Steve Angeli go undefeated until he gets us, ... and we of course roll to a win.

9th in SP+ defense…..lol.

I expect Wisconsin is actually competent. IMO it is:

Miami
- GAP -
BYU
SMU
- GAP -
Wisconsin
Navy
- GAP -
Everyone else

Looking at their schedule, they could absolutely come into that game 9-2 or 10-1. If Coach Fran Brown can get those boys back to 2024 form and Angelli can have the season we know he's capable of, this is not unreasonable in the slightest. I am a big believer in both.

Really hoping one or both of SMU and Syracuse take care of business throughout the regular season to add some juice to these late-season matchups. Particularly when we may need the boost to secure a playoff spot, home game, or bye.

I’m not sure what about the Fickell tenure leads to your conclusion of the Badgers being competent next year. Per the SP+ they are projected to be the 4th worst team in the Big Ten. If they are actually the 4th strongest team on the schedule, this is absurdly weak.

Wisconsin’s schedule has been a death march for two straight years and finally lightens up. They did decent in the portal. Not gonna predict another starting QB injury.

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, but is Wisconsin a Shamrock Series game?

Just wondering what tickets (who gets the big allotment) are going to look like..,

It made $102 million more than it spent. Which is still quite impressive.

Also of note considering some recent discussions: The mens basketball team lost $5 million. Which might factor into why they don't throw even more money in to coach buyouts and NIL.
Basketball is screwed.

Considering how empty Purcell is, they could probably make money if they were able to win games and actually get South Bend people to come.

It always astonishes me that Wimbush and Book are good buddies. One guy benched the other, those are true teammates.

At the end of the day, Wimbush exhausted all his opportunities to be QB1. Even when he transferred to a G5 school, he couldn’t secure the role. So it makes sense to not have hard feelings and grow the personal relationships formed in the QB room. Good dudes.

I just called out Dan Lanning at my local bar

I gave him a Go Irish and "We'll see you in the playoffs" and "Marcus Freeman is coming for you"

I didn't yell. I was nice and smiling. he was with his friends and buying the drinks

This is the second time I've seen him around town and I told myself I had to "Go Irish" him next time

Just so you know... Im their locker room material if it gets down to it

(Luckily I had Irish gear on)
