Texas A&M dropping out after a close loss against a top 5 team and Clemson remaining in the top 25 after getting the brakes beaten off of them by Georgia is preposterous
AP got it correctRanked 5th in the AP
Four games in one week? That's brutal.Oregon plays a really stout schedule with road trips to Michigan and Wisconsin and home games vs Ohio St and Boise St this week. They should drop below us eventually.
They better because if the playoffs were held with today’s rankings we’d be 9th and play at Oregon, with the winner playing Georgia.
I don’t want anything to do with that set up.
Especially with two of the games on the road!!!Four games in one week? That's brutal.
Couldn't find his profile. I think the comment is right. Very underrated. No one ever talks about him when discussing the best ND receivers.

I love Samardzija (the football player) but he was completely contained by LSU in the Sugar Bowl. He simply could not get any separation the entire game. I think that would’ve been his NFL future and he knew it.Shark will always go down as my favorite receiver. Supreme confidence and backed it up every time.
Idk, I mean he was a physical freak even if not a burner. He made contested catches all of the time. I'm not saying he would've been a perennial pro-bowler or anything but he was a first round grade at WR for a reason.I love Samardzija (the football player) but he was completely contained by LSU in the Sugar Bowl. Since fucking 1993
We have a big problem at the qb position. The season isn’t gonna get better until MF faces that reality. He screwed his NIL hire up.
There are very few transfer QBs who have much success in their first year. I can't think of anyone besides Caleb Williams. We need to stop these 1-year rentalsEvery big program wanted Riley, just like they wanted Sam. We may just be cursed.

Don’t forget the OG…Russell Wilson. lolHurts finished 2nd in the Heisman voting.
That optimism should come in handy when we start looking to 2025 b/c ND will be losing a ton on defense and breaking in a new QB to run the offense. That’s all before factoring in the transfers in/out of the program.I'll admit that I am an eternal optimist with the Irish. Even after the bad losses, I still try to enjoy the rest of the season because we only get 12 guaranteed opportunities to watch this team every year.
I bought in big time this summer. I was so hyped to the point of unrealistic expectations. The team is loaded, Marcus gets them up for "big" games, he apparently learned in year two how to crush the teams we're heavily favored against. All he had to do was take of business against the Purdues on the schedule and beat A&M.
This is crushing.
