Odd that season ticket holders are penalized with high prices, "membership" fees, and multiple less than stellar opponents. I would guess most are not local, requiring additional expenses for travel. If UW is a "home" game, playing in a hard to get to location on a holiday weekend doesn't help.

Yeah old man rant, but $1,200 for one ticket to sit in the very top row in an endzone is ridiculous. Plus I drive 6+ hours to do it. I love ND and don't mind doing it for schedules like this year, but that pathetic ass schedule next year, especially at home and wanting to charge that much has me thinking on passing for next year.

My main reason for getting them was the thought of a home playoff game. But now that we can get a bye... and if ND doesn't get a bye with that weak ass schedule next year... I can't justify that.
Makes sense. Then again, ND might be preseason #1 for the first time in 55 years. Pair that with a weak schedule, and you might be missing history.

As much as I love that, pOSU still exists...and I believe plan to keep their football program around in 2026.

Yes, they would be the main competition. I know Jeremiah and Sayin are expected back, but I'm not sure about the rest. They probably lose a lot more than ND.

No kidding. Especially charging the same amount. Stop the Shamrock Series if it’s going to put ND at this kind of disadvantage. I know it was delayed due to COVID but the Wisconsin game at Lambeau Field is considered an ND home game. May be fun for fans & media but doesn’t help the players any.
I went to the Shamrock game at Fenway against BC ten years ago and the whole experience of playing a road game three miles from your campus with a crowd that was mostly fans of the other team was so emasculating for BC that it almost (almost) made me feel bad for those sniveling little shits. But I would imagine Wisconsin fans will "travel" better for this one.

But also this makes no sense. Was the game in Chicago a few years ago a home game? Also Notre Dame and UW-Madison are two of the greatest university campuses and student bodies in the nation. Why could they simply not play these games there?

The Chicago game was technically a Wisconsin home game. Why, they did it this way, no freaking clue.

I think to mix it up. If you recall the uniforms were supposed to be GB inspired in Lambeau and Bears inspired in Chicago.

I was also at the Fenway game. Good time unless you were rooting for Backup College.

What kind of drive-by is this?

Because it worked out so very well for the last guy.

And yeah, nd should really front end load their schedule with the gauntlet of Arkansas pine bluff, Kent state and Oregon state like tech did.

It's crazy when 3rd rate schools who nobody knew existed until Bobby Knight needed somewhere to go after IU finally got tired of his act decide feel a need to mouth off.

At least Nard Dog has a gripe about being forced by his conference to schedule an almost automatic loss in the OOC slate on the regular. At least Franklin was battling for (and often losing) recruits with ND. McGuire has one successful season thanks to oil money and decides he wants to sit at the cool kids table so tries to create a little buzz for himself. Does he take a shot at Texas or A and M who his program has history with? Nah much more likely he’s going to have to put his money where his mouth is in that scenario. So instead he repeats the laziest, dumbest talking point in all of college football about a team hundreds of miles away. Hope he savors every second of the borrowed time he’s living on. Because in 3 years he’s going to be repeating the same talking points about UCONN while coaching at UTSA

He must be pretty salty that MF tried to take his recruiting coordinator/GM.

I really hope we see them in the CFP.
