I heard it's not plagiarism or cheating, but that there were some citation issues on a midterm and he needs to make revisions for it to be acceptable. Fingers crossed that's it.

FWIW, this wasn't that uncommon for classes. Part of the reason why a lot of midterms were due a week before grades need to be submitted.

Not doubting your info. I just think it's absurd that if this is true that anyone outside of Ian and his professor should even know/care.

Here's what I don't get: Academically, Book is a junior, yes? Don't remember if he was an EE but even if not he's probably 3/4 of the way through, well beyond the point when most people have academic struggles.

I'm sure being QB1 is a little more distracting and mentally-demanding than permanent clipboard duty used to be, but come on. You get caught cheating now? Why? Maybe stuff got to his head. Maybe there's a target on his back. Maybe it's all a big nothingburger about a group class. But you've got to be smarter than that.

Usually when sh!t hits the fan, nobody recalls the information and says it's not a big deal. It usually goes from bad to extremely bad in just a few hours. I'm hoping this time is no different. I never thought the idea of Ian Book being suspended would make me break out in a cold sweat but there it is. I don't trust the other quarterbacks on the roster to get us to the playoffs.
