You can never have been to "too many games in that stadium".
Agree, was just using a stupid quote from the movie.

Are tickets being sent electronically? I get my tickets form a faculty member and I’m out of state and she keeps saying she has not yet received her tickets yet. Anyone know when they will be sent?
Hi everybody. We are planning to come down for college Gameday for the Michigan game. We don't have tickets to the game, just wanted to go to gameday because we never have. The following weekend I am bringing my kids (15, 12, 10) to their first ND game against the Fighting Beau's of Ball State. I have only been to two ND games and those were a long time ago. What would you guys recommend doing for either or both on campus? Or are there any helpful links to check out the traditions, etc? Thanks in advance!

Any New Yokers in here?
I'm going to be in NYC with the wife this weekend.
Anyone know of cool spots to watch games?
There is a game watch at Public House in Manhattan. They have open bar and all-you-can-eat wing specials during the ND game.
Saw that online - have you attended? Curious if it's elbow to elbow like "the Irish Oak" is in Chicago.
I have not been in a long time but I don't remember it being that packed.
Hi all, after 8 years on this hallowed portalI have the joy of telling you, i will be at South Bend for the Virginia game next year!!!!!!! Any tips on how to get two tickets, would be appreciated. To say i'm excited is an understatement

Thank you pal. I am like a wee bairn at ChristmasThe easiest way to get tickets is to wait until mid-July when they go on public sale. A game like Virginia should easily have a good amount of tickets after the students and alumni buy theirs up.
It should be posted on here (and just about every site that covers ND will usually mention it) when the exact date of public tickets are available. Just go to und.com/tickets
You can also use stubhub/vividseats, but you probably won't be paying face value, especially after fees.
Scalping tickets day of game is also another viable option. UVA should have plenty at face value around the tailgate spots and outside the stadium for face value.
Hi everyone! Auburn fan here. Myself and two buddies are bringing our dads for a bucket list trip to see a game in South Bend this weekend against Stanford! Would love some suggestions on gameday must-dos that maybe others haven't mentioned.
Would also love to know how easy it is to crash a tailgate. I've found that chatting people up in the SEC usually leads to fun and would love that experience Saturday. We're just six guys who LOVE college football and have been planning this trip for a year now. Going to Wrigley Thursday and Friday before heading to SB on Saturday.
Looking forward to it and thanks in advance for any tips!
Can someone provide this guy with the "visitors site" for game day visits?
Welcome! Wear green and each and every tailgate will treat you like Jesus. Can someone provide this guy with the "visitors site" for game day visits?
Definitely check out trumpets under the dome, and it's good to be early to that IMO. Go Irish!
Ps. You can walk around campus with beer cans. Even up to the library/touchdown Jesus.
Yolo hard.

Love it! Done and done. We're positively giddy about the trip and the game. Great info about the beer situation too.
You guys should be happy to know there will be six less Stanford people there. We bought our tickets through their AD from a family connection.
Is this the same time every Saturday or does it vary based on kickoff time?

So this is specific to Stanford game: https://gameday.nd.edu/events/2018/9/29/
I would skip most of this. Check out the Basillica on your own time, check out Grotto, check out bookstore, and tailgate the rest of the time IMO.
Dont miss the trumpets under the dome or players walk. Like I said those are worth being early for IMO.
Ask if they're doing tunnel or locker room tours. Ask anyone, ND ushers and fans are great at 2 things: heartbreak and being exceptionally kind to guests.
At least this is what I'd suggest. I've been to ~8 ND games and this is the "must see", especially If you dont want to cut into your drinking time.
