Economically it does hurt Germany. How does it hurt us? There’s still going to be 30k Active Duty personnel there. By your logic, adding 5k troops would make us safer. What’s the right number of personnel we need for safety?
I don't know I'm not a general, but seems to be an unpopular move to those in the know

"how does it hurt us" ..... I sadly realize that the concept of friendship is meaningless to many more people than I hoped.

If all acts are threats or in some way unfriendly, then one ultimately finds oneself without friends. I don't want that world.

And, no, it's not the primary responsibility of the forcefully weaker "partner" to initiate and carry a friendship. Jesus "said" that.

And, when that always threatening, always dividing, attitude continues to be employed down the scale, through ones own country city neighborhood, one will stand alone. That too is not the world of continuous threat that I want. It .... hurts.

... as far as US troop deployment in Germany is concerned, yes, such decisions should always be made using practical real-world decisions involving the safety of ourselves AND our friends, and made with care, neighborliness, and handshakes.

Even if true - should be treasonous to announce it. Which is why I think it is probably bullshit and quite possibly released on purpose to goad a response from Iran.

NBC News is reporting that Netanyahu's puppet exploded during a call with the puppet master, cursing at him, calling him crazy and accused him of ingratitude.

Come on man! You're cherry picking. Of course, Donnie vents to Daddy Bibi (I loved it btw!), but are you f---ing kidding me?

For crying out loud, just last week, it was all over the news how the U.S. and Israel are advancing unprecedented military-industrial and technological integration in the proposed FY2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

The NDAA includes deep Operational Integration via legislation that proposes deep "data fusion" and "network integration," which would tie the two countries' defense industries and military supply chains closer together than the U.S. shares with most NATO allies.

Israeli leadership, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has signaled a desire to gradually taper off direct financial aid from the U.S. over the next decade, BUT this legislation is actually shifting the Israel/US relationship from foreign aid to embedded procurement; critics argue it bypasses standard political scrutiny while permanently locking Israeli and U.S. defense interests together.

I can't imagine any US administration ever considering something like this with Israel... The "shitty" puppet indeed does still exist.

NDW, if you actually had a fulsome understanding of what you were posting about, the possibility that you could be dangerous is out there. Somewhere.

Just stating that, despite you sifting through articles and watching YT, the inner workings of this relationship are far more complex.

Of course, they are, but I was just replying to Irish#1's statement implying that Trump is not a puppet.

I think Trump is pissed he got suckered in too far by Israel and is pushing back blaming them for the obvious stupidity of what was no doubt sold as a two week foray into the sandbox to give Iran what for. Being played and being a puppet are not the same thing.

I don't think he is anyone's puppet and much less a puppet than 95% of politicians out there. The hilarity of whining about him as a "puppet" after Biden was the most literal puppet of all time is classic liberal projection.
