It's already been discussed in DM, but respond however you feel necessary. Don't look to me for moderation or approval, I'm not the board's momma and I have zero power here. If I can be frank, my time is limited currently and I tend to skim and skip over a lot of threads especially if there's a lot of drama when I see it. Some days I only have time to respond if I see someone quotes me in the notifications. For those reasons I find the unrelated off topic bickering to be a waste of time and childish.
My wishes were for less personal attacks, but it seems you feel differently as you say more broad comments are offensive to you. I don't think we're going to see eye to eye as a result as we're on two different sides of the same coin. I fully believe there's been things said on both sides that overstepped beyond anything Bishop said above. Like I said, it's my wish we'd get away from some of the more egregious personal attacks and tame it down as I feel like it serves no purpose. The way I saw it personal attacks are ban worthy on the rest of the IE board, but they're allowed to fly here because it's the Wild Wild West, that was part of the basis for my statement. I do agree that I think you're taking a bit too much to heart with some content, especially the stuff that doesn't pertain to you, but that's your opinion and you're allowed to feel how you feel.
In completely unrelated news, part of the reason I've been busy is I've been out most of the day, stuck in an ER as a doctor tried to remove a popsicle shard from my son's foot. He picked it up at the neighbor's house, a kid left a broken popsicle stick on the ground and it got embedded in deep. After hours at the ER the doctor couldn't manage to remove it despite having imaging and going at it with a scalpel. You couldn't even see it anywhere close to the surface of the skin, it was that deep. We thought we were going to need to wait a week and a half to see the Dayton Children's surgeon, but a family friend sent us to a doc in Middletown that was able to soak the foot and eventually pry it out. A wonderful injury, just in time for Peewee football season!

Between Peewee and my daughter's band I won't be around as much till late October.
