There's always been heated arguments in the politics board, but it feels like the last several months they've ramped up, probably with the advent of Bua. It's childish and disappointing, and while the politics board is generally a pointless endeavor as we verbally spar with no side budging from their tribes, the personal attacks really bring less that nothing of worth to discussions.

Things took a huge turn for the worse in terms of personal attacks when Trump ran and then ultimately got elected and much of it was coming from those on the right. So much so that people like NDinLA, Wooly and few others left the board completely.

I enjoy the calls for "decorum". Somehow they seem to be missing when Circa who famously said everyone "has long jew noses" and got banned, is just welcomed back. What a silly billy! I love how he posts multiple times each day with multiple crackpot theories about globalist plots and how the Left is the devil and it's just crickets lmao. I think it's just better to insult entire groups of people rather than individuals, you know, to ensure decorum is kept.

There are other posters I know outside of IE that have refused to come to the Politics section because of the back and forth garbage tossed. Not everything is the bad orange man's fault, people are responsible for their own actions and childish behavior.
