No mention of Tyler Stockton. He's listed as a NT on the official site, so he must be the 5th option. Doesn't bode well that a 3 freshman has already passed him on the depth chart.

I'm not under the impression that such discrimination applies to linemen, but I suppose it's possible.

Just for the sake of comparison:

Stockton's Composite Score: 4, 11th DT (3rd by ESPN), 112st Nationally (31st by ESPN)
Springmann's Composite Score: 3, 53rd DE/ 43rd OT

I point this out not to rag on Springmann, but to highlight the near invisibility of Stockton. He came in as a highly touted recruit and has completely disappeared.

Also, Phil Steele projects us in the Fiesta Bowl vs. Boise State.

His size and athleticism are only reason I say this. The fact he played in northeast indiana doesn't help much him either.
