BTW, you’re talking about Thiago Silva the 30 something defender at PSG.

I’m talking about the midfielder at Bayern.

Unless Chelsea want both.

Please bring Silva to the Premier League. Yes, have some.

Whoops, you're right. My bad, getting my Silva's mixed up!

i feel like CFB has been less exciting since the Boise State era ended. Kellen Moore graduating was the turning point. Change mah mind

Boise returning to the pack, Utah and TCU joining P5 leagues, and Nebraska moving to the B1G were all negatives for CFB. At least all those things happening in a short time.

Yeah I can't imagine Silva doing well at this stage of his career in England. He's so old.

LETS GO BAYERN TODAY

Bayern 1 (Coman)
Paris 0

Bayern physically much more imposing. Both teams have missed some opportunities.

I'm surprised it's that close after Bayern spanked Barcelona like they did.

I've been flipping back and forth with the Indy 500. Go Bayern, Go Marco, Go Graham.

Championship matches are always a bit goofy.

Bayern win. First title since 2013. Good deal. Better team won.

I almost lost my shit when Paris penetrated there in ET. Bayern dominated physically most of the game, and could have screwed it all up there. Thank god they weren't ready.

I like Mbappe, but everyone else on French Man City can go scratch. Hope he leaves there soon.

How the hell do teams even figure out how much to pay Bqrca? 33 years old. Still a star. Huge marketing opportunity. But....33 years old and playing outside Spain.

Honestly Barca should just rip up his contract and say thank you. He's been the best player in the world for the last 12 years or so? But we live on planet earth so we know that aint gonna happen.

There is only one destination.

Manchester City.

1. CEO and Director of Football are both Barcelona men that Messi reportedly has/had good relationships with.

2. Pep is the manager who he played his best football with, and who he has always had a strong relationship with.

3. Aguero and Messi are close friends. It has been reported in the past that Messi is the godfather to Kun's son.

4. Play in the best league in the world, and already have a world class squad that will allow him to play for every and any trophy to close out the final years of his career.

Please someone show me a better argument then that. I will wait....

It going to be impossible to wait this one out, hopefully he makes up his mind soon.

I might give my left nut to see him go to Real Madrid.

Biggest heel turn in the history of heel turns.

But, it will probably be City or PSG.

ah you have Ronaldo's Juve deal as a precedent. But yeah better for both parties to separate now and quickly. Barca will need to make a splash acquisition to soften the blow also.

Messi and English Football...lol. He wont be able to do anything but complain about the fouls. And he will get fouled. Hard. Many times.

If there's a fee involved I doubt City gets him. If there's no fee, I doubt anyone other than City gets him, for the reasons CTID listed.

Obviously signing on fees/agent fees/the salary are going to be huge sums of cash, but avoiding a transfer fee could save hundreds of millions lol

I may be wrong but hasnt that move kinda been viewed as a mistake on the part of Juve?

Will be interesting to see what he does and how a deal gets done. He is a likable guy. Wish him the best unless he's playing against Pool or Bayern.

This has been my thought from the get go. He just turned 33 and now he's going to come to England? It won't be a smooth ride into the sunset.

Zero guarantees he wins Champions League, either.

I wonder if he makes a move to a more traditional team to finish things out. Maybe it becomes about sport versus money with him. He surely has more than enough.

Messi to Bayern. Science, help us all.

a mistake yeah in the fact that they haven't won the CL. There have been rumors they'd like to offload him and his wages

They haven't won it since 1996. They have dominated their domestic competition like City and PSG in recent years. If they don't win Champions League, who the hell cares?

Juve brought in Ronaldo to deliver CL. They've fallen short. May as well off load him if possible and get younger.

Why would Messi coming to city only be about money.....

City play one of the best brands of football the club world has ever seen, with one of the most attacking mangers in the world.
City have scored 106, 95, and 102 PL goals the last three seasons.

What kind of attacking player would not want to play in that system?

Give me a break man. I get your a Liverpool supporter, but you have to open your mind a little bit and see City isn't just a bunch of mercenaries...but whatever.
