So Coutinho leaves Liverpool for Barca only to now be potentially going on loan to Arsenal or Tottenham?

He and Fernando Torres should go grab a pint sometime in London.

Talk about your career zigging when it should have zagged.

Why I love Jurgen Klopp:

"We have to pay some bills, you know"

"I can't splash out with a $100M GBP purchase and tell someone that you'll play when the starting player is ill or injured"

Sporting Lisbon: We won't accept a penny less than $70M for Bruno Fernandes

Manchester United: Okay, $70M it is.

Somewhere, Jose Mourinho laments football heritage. Meanwhile, Lukaku can't seem to make his way to Inter.

Kieran Tierney is apparently headed to Arsenal... that's a massive blow to Celtic's historic ten in a row bid.

Man City have signed full-back João Cancelo from Juventus for £26m plus Brazilian defender Danilo.

I think this makes them firm favorites for a Quad and the NFC East.

Bournemouth want $75M for Nathan Ake, which is what Liverpool paid for Virgil Van Dijk.

I'm trying to understand how this market sustains himself. No way there is enough TV and sponsorship money to go around for this continue.

Gives us two natural wingbacks with Mendy on the other side. Can finally actually play the 3-5-2 that pep has experimented with at the start of every season. Walker could even play the RCB role that he sometimes does with England, or fernandinho could be at the center while in defense and slide up into midfield when we have the ball like this. If we're preparing for life without Sane it makes even more sense.

Nah, in all seriousness I wish him well, kid is just getting started I have no doubt he'll be the next Celtic player to go down south and tear it up.

He just released a statement to Celtic fans etc... he grew up a huge Celtic fan, came up through their youth teams and such and a large minority of the fans have taken this pretty hard, meaning way over the top with it... of all the teams I support, regardless of sport, Celtic has by far the most embarrassing fans.

I've noticed soccer fans really take things to another level when they lose a player. Did you see Chelsea fans were leaving 1 star reviews to David Luiz's Italian restaurant today with his transfer? "Curly hair in my food"

Also, this picture has been floating around all day of Luiz and Guendouzi at Arsenal:

KT isn't there just yet but I fully expect him to be a Andrew Robertson clone in short order... better even.

Life without Sane probably means buying Dembele from Barcelona.

The price tag City reportedly put on Sane for Bayern, before Sane hurt his knee, is about what Dembele would cost.

Having a guy like Sane coming off the bench to attack tired defenders is quite a luxury. He probably starts just about everywhere else, including Bayern. The knee injury's timing was really awful, especially in a stupid friendly.

That's pretty good!... Good thing for him he didn't go to Spurs, might have died from the dust build up in their trophy-less cases.

Our cupboard is full. 2018 International Champions Cup Winners and 2019 Audi Cup Winners...

Newcastle was so much more fun when the fans could sing "Cheer Up Steve Bruce" and it not be about our own manager......

British soccer fans have to be right up there with the most miserable people on the planet to interact with... they're like a occupy protest but larger and more drunk.

This is the first weekend during which Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City - all reigning champions - have all played and failed to win since April 2014.

Daniel Storey, via Twitter.

Since City last dropped points in the League, 72 million people were born world wide.

I would also contend that City vs Tottenham vs VAR is now becoming as fierce of a Derby as El Classico or The Old Firm.

How gets sacked first, Steve Bruce or Frank Lampard?

I know Bruce gets sacked on FIA 20's launch day in my world... I'm taking over. Good bet will be which Bruce gets sacked first, ACamp's electronic version, or the real life version....

Considering they haven't dropped league points in 7 months, I really don't care how funny or unfunny it is when it happens.

Honestly, I didn't think Spurs played all that well to deserve a point, but I'm glad they got one.
