Ties the greatest comeback in MLS history, geez this was fun....

With that said LAG has so many holes, it's a long way from Omar, Donovan and Keane...

Ha, he might have been off on that go-ahead goal.

Unbelievable ending. What a comeback. Also love the f-bombs on the hot mic in the team celebration.

Madrid absolutely curb stomped Juve. They beat the crap out of them. One of the most demoralizing defeats that team has had in 7 years. I'm curious to see if there is going to be any hangover from this, and if it will mentally effect their Serie A performances going forward.

It's amazing how quickly I can tune Euro soccer out, I forgot Champions League was still going on for the most part...

Looking forward to today's Champions League matches. Liverpool and City will both be playing with players missing due to injuries. Anfield atmosphere should be top notch, however.

Feeling very good about the big one today. If it's a repeat of the 4-3 game at Anfield from before, that's honestly a much better result for City. Don't think City will lose though. We were without David Silva last time around, and we simply don't lose when he plays. Also, Stones won't be playing this time and he was miserable at Anfield before.

Hope Bernardo starts as Sterling tends to struggle against Liverpool, but would bring him on for the last 20 min to run at tired legs. You just know Klavan has some fuck ups in him today. I'll be happy with 2 away goals regardless of how many Liverpool score (assuming it's less than like 5), City will do the business at the Etihad.

What distracted you? The International break is only a week long.

Baseball mainly, plus the MLS and the fact that all of my teams are done in Europe... I couldn't care any less about the big money Spanish teams or the oil baron clubs...

Cheer for Roma dude! They are gonna go out there guns blazing today. They have nothing to lose and the players have voiced that.

That'd be cool I guess... it was fun meeting all the Lazio/Roma supporters last fall out there. I honestly couldn't tell if they were just playing it up for the Americans or if they honest to goodness don't associate with each other. lol

eh yeah they dont like each other. Traditionally Lazio were seen as the suburban/country club and Roma the city club. Both have similar right wing leanings in their fans idealologies though.

I did notice that everyone I talked to in Italy, everywhere, that made any kind of political leaning known was obviously right of center... Vocal, and fed up with the nanny state basically summed it up nicely.

yeah sums up italy pretty well haha, they have always been like that tbh. their politcal situation is kinda screwed up. they can't form a government and their recent elections decided nothing. alot of anger and resentment there (like many european nations - UK etc)

Playing Liverpool will always make me nervous. City is the better team in every aspect but no Aguero and at Anfield will be tough. Think De Bruyne and Silva will dominate in midfield, but could see City struggling to breakthrough.

Oh absolutely, the nerves will start taking over very soon. I think City will be out for some revenge, and I don't think anyone wants to play a City team with something to prove. First goal is huge.
