This Palace Liverpool game is unreal. 3-2 35 mins in.

Just gorgeous football from Liverpool lately. So creative offensively. Bad defense today, but so far this season, it's much better than last year on that end. Good times to come for the reds.

In 135 minutes with Moreno on the pitch , they've conceded 5 goals. This is his fault somehow

Spurs, still undefeated, on pace to give up 19 goals on the season and not finish in the top 4. So we've got that going for us.

Liverpool tied at the top of the table...and United lagging behind in 8th, averaging 1.3 goals per game. LOL. Most expensive team in history....

That front 5 is just beautiful to watch. I still want to see better, more consistent finishing though. But really that's nitpicking.

He seems to cost us a goal every game he plays. What was he doing not closing Zaha down on the cross to McArthur that resulted in the goal? I guess he assisted on a goal too so that kind of cancels out, but still, Moreno is just not a reliable defender.

They will be alright when they get Kane back in a week or two. Janssen has the industry but not the ingenuity for them up top.

Here comes Seattle... I figured they'd make some movement when they were sitting at the bottom of the league most of the season.

So after being at home, in one of the best home field advantages in all of sports, against a depleted BMonch team, Celtic gets dominated and looks terrible.

Today they are without numerous starters, in Germany, and should have absolutely won the game(missed a wide open, easy chance right at the end), ending 1-1.

Crazy world. Needed those three points to make it to Europa though... oh well.

Thought Arsenal was starting off November in typical Gunner fashion as they went down 0-2 to Ludogorets. Somehow managed a way to win the game and stay int he race to win the group.

That Ozil winner was magnificent. Messi-esque how the ball was absolutely glued to his foot.

I'd expect BayerL. to win that, no?

Anyway, Dortmund officially through to the knockouts...

At WHL, Spurs are the clear favorite. (Away draw in Deutschland 0-0). But, Spurs are playing at Wembley for CL matches and have had no luck there (supporters hate it and field itself is a bit different. no advantage). Leverkusen were the clear better side today. Spurs desperately miss Anderwerield and 'Arry. My heart said a win, but a draw was most likely. A fortunate deflection was the difference in the match. But to be fair, Leverkusen should has capitalized earlier efforts. Fair result.

Trouble in Dortmund? Aubameyang healthy scratched/suspended hours before the match... "internal reasons."

2 Matches left..win both, and we're through.

f.....n' hell, spurs...

One of the worst games under Poch, that was brutal. Touch, imagination, and movement in the final third was wretched and has been bad for about a month. Seem to be trying to set world record with the most passes back to Lloris.

Leverkusen is a bad matchup, too. Their press bothered this new patient Poch system and their fullbacks do a nice job negating Spurs speed down the flanks. Teams are figuring out that Tottenham doesn't have enough skill to work the ball through the middle of the field--especially when Dembele isn't in form (looks like he'll miss the derby this weekend). Plus, Bayer falls down on every bit of physical play and slows down about half of Spurs attempts to counter-attack.

Weird to say with just 3 losses all year and none in league play but it's a huge month coming up. Could be 7th or 8th in the table and out of the Champions League in early December.

Pulisic was the best player on the field today for Dortmund. No homer. It was really incredible to see. Only other player on Dortmund who was maybe better was Weigl. The youth on that team is astounding.

I just don't think anyone (including me) realized how important Harry Kane is to Spurs from a creative standpoint. He works so hard to track back and bring midfielders into the attack, which I'll admit I always thought was something he actually shouldn't be doing because it ruins the team's shape, but the last few weeks have proved that without him doing that the Spurs attack just doesn't get going. Janssen works hard too, but he's just not as effective at coming back deep and getting a move started. Spurs must be so relieved to be getting Kane back soon.

I also think that Danny Rose is such an upgrade over Davies--and that's no slight on Davies; Rose is just that good. I know how important Poch thinks it is to rotate those fullbacks, but Danny Rose can dominate his side when he is at his best.

I heard Aubameyang was suspended for staying out late partying in Milan. Hopefully it's just an isolated indiscretion.

Idk, not trying to rile anyone, but I'd expect Bayer to win most matches against Spurs, Spurs are a fine club but I'm sensing a bit of EPL tunnel vision. Leverkusen are much better than peps who don't watch a ton of Bundesliga realize.

I did face palm over the Aubameyang thing, that's all this team needs with all the other injuries and transitions...

EPL tunnel vision is a thing. I'm with ya.

I think the angst for Spurs fans has more to do with the poor performance than the result. Spurs have been really poor going forward not just against Leverkusen but for a few weeks now, and they looked like legit title contenders before that. So while I don't disagree that there's a lot of EPL tunnel vision out there, I don't think that really explains the reaction to yesterday's game at Wembley. It's more about what's wrong with Spurs lately.

Ehhh... I think it is probably a bias on both ends. But like mentioned, Spurs are completely out of form at the moment and Bayer's press was troublesome. There are a lot of factors that go into the match (domestic ref vs euro refs/key players missing/neutral site).. we can cherry pick whatever suits our argument.

I feel both teams are essentially even, but the evidence indicates Bayer (1-0 aggregate).

'Arry needs to get healthy, Toby needs to get healthy, Sissoko never needs to play again (i loathed his signing at 30 mil), Eriksen needs to take his head out of his arse... i can go on.

Gotta win the next two.. and we're through.

Let's not get carried away with the hipster Bundesliga talk. They're a German club in the Champions League, not FC Utrecht. They're also 10th in the Bundesliga table, not a whole lot of opportunity to watch them play well this year.

Seriously??

I'm probably the last person on this board that deserves the 'hipster' label, I watch the league because my mother is German,... but to me the reactions here to a lot of non-EPL stuff does show some real tunnel vision. I would say Bayer are in 10th because they're in a very great league in terms of quality... Gladbach, Schalke and Wolfsburg are all lower currently. Just being real, I'd expect them to take most EPL teams on agg.

Honestly, Bundesliga is tough.
