Gundogen is going to city unless we feel his most recent injury is too big of a deal. He wants to be with pep
I'm telling you the important factor here is Mkhitaryan... if he moves, (which right now seems likely, but we know how that can go in Euro soccer) there is zero chance Gundy or anyone else of note goes anywhere... it's been flat out stated numerous times that of the three in question, Hummels, Gundy and MK, they can not and will not move all three...
Would be a huge pickup for them. That's just the type of player they need, imo.
I've been hoping since last summer that LFC would pick him up, but apparently no one who mattered had the same idea. Never heard any serious, credible rumors, although there were tabloid rumblings that were apparently meritless.
I don't get the relationship? All three players play in different parts of the field. BVB certainly has the depth to cope with losing Gundy, especially with the emergence of Weigl, right? If BVB got an eye-popping price for him--and Man City, which never has a problem over-paying for players, will be even less reticent this summer with the Premier League TV money coming in--why wouldn't they sell?

ND23, did you ever get used to the new FIFA??? Still play??
It is actually my best FIFA yet... If your familiar with online you know how it is broken down from division 10 to division 1 being the best. I spend most my time in division 1 with occasionally getting relegated to D2 but usually get promoted back the same season. I play too much...
Right on... I remember after our epic showdown last year you were about pace and when I asked what you thought and it sounded the pacing frustrated you a bit.... I just picked it back up after a couple months.... But I usually don't play online.
I definitely had to adapt my game to the new version. Pace still plays a big factor, but not nearly as big as previous versions. I can't play with Man City. I can't figure out how to play with them. Juventus is my squad for online. I can counter via the wings with all their pace or just go right up through the middle with Pogba and Marchisio. Pogba might be the most powerful FIFA player I've used outside of Ronaldo and Messi. He can score from literally anywhere in any way.
FIFA 16 man mode is great and pace was way toned down this year... As 23 stated its still one of the most important stats but by far THE most important, I find high shot power and finishing together trumps pace this year... Man mode is so much better with the training and youth academy too... Hope they build on it.
ACamp, how do you think Rangers will perform this year finally moving back up to the Premiership?
Unless they spend like crazy, which was what got them where they are in the first place, they'll have trouble competing with Aberdeen and Celtic imo... it'll take a few years to get back to where they were domestically... I wonder what is going to happen with Zaleam, from what I've seen he's kind of lost his starting role there and I have no clue if his loan has any options beyond this season.
Do Rangers decide they want him back? We'll have to see.
Back to BVB, if they do move either Gundy or MK and I could pick to keep one I would keep Mkhitaryan... Both are world class players but MK makes a greater impact in Thomas Ts system... I don't know enough about this young Dembele kid but he's supposed to fit right in now and his style (as reported) sounds to fit a MK replacement more than a Gundy... Time will tell.
Rodgers to Celtic now official... not sure what to think...
I'm happy they moved on from Delia... but they spent quite a bit to bring Rodgers in apparently... Do they spend on talent now to help him???
Imo, Rodgers is a good tactical coach in terms of figuring out what an opposing team's weaknesses are. Where he struggles is in judging which players will fit his tactics, and in which positions. When he was at Liverpool I felt like he tried to shoehorn too many square pegs into round holes. For example, Joe Allen was a deep-lying defensive midfielder under Rodgers; under Klopp it's clear that he is better in more of a box-to-box role. If Rodgers finds the right backroom staff to help with those kinds of decisions I think he can be very successful.
Seriously doubt it... it sounds like he's not much of a factor there currently. Besides there is only one Red White and Blue that kid should be wearing... the current form he rocks is fvkin repugnant.

Agreed. Apparently Wenger wants to give him some first team looks this summer, so we'll have to see what happens. I would hope if he is only a fringe 1st teamer, he gets loaned again.
Speaking of Allen, since the news dropped this morning all I have seen from the Celtic message boarders is CFC making a move on Allen... I don't know how realistic that is (I'll believe it when I see it I guess) but that's the 'hype' right now...
Would love that for all parties, if he can't stay at LFC. Allen is a hard worker and a really neat and tidy midfield operator. His long passing leaves a bit to be desired and he's not the type of visionary or dynamic player who creates a lot of chances, but he is a really solid, hard-working midfielder who could be really effective in the right system. I mean, you could compare him to Ngolo Kante; he's just waiting for the breakout year that Kante had this year.
Speaking of Kante, France is absolutely loaded. If they don't win the Euros on their home turf, I will be shocked. You know your team is deep when Lacazette isn't in the first 23.

Really? Shocked if they don't win it all?
