I was pissed because I was at home and I could have watched it, but I was playing with the kids, knowing the whole tourney has been set to record on my DVR. Around 6:25, I noticed that the red button wasn't lit on my DVR fml. Turns out the game was on regular Fox, and my DVR was set to FX1. And then a storm hit and knocked out our satellite, so I didn't even get to watch the last 20 minutes. Good job my me.

I'm in your boat as far as mostly playing friends and computer. Beat the living hell out of both. (Won the Prem with Southampton!)

Online people play like jackasses. I played a guy who ran a custom formation with like two defenders, 3 midfielders, and 5 forwards or something like that. By the time I could even figure out what was going on, I was down 4-0, ended up losing 5-4, you deal with a lot of dbags who just bomb it down the field.

Also, people quit all the time. I am always good about taking my beating, but if you go up 2-0 a lot of people will quit.

I haven't played too much online yet (though I do plan to do so) but what you said about the jackasses is part of why I enjoy it. Always brings something different to every game. I really can't stand playing against Real, Barca, or Bayern every game.

what formation do you guys usually do? I usually do a 5-3-2 with the three all playing fairly centrally and then having 2 wing backs out of the back making runs.

Columbus has a really slept on trio with Kamara, Higy and Trapp... One of the better trios in the league (not like NYC or LA but still really good) and they get literally no attention at all really.

Agreed about Sean Johnson. He needs to move to Europe badly

I'll just say this and move on, you never make that call, at that point in the game unless there is a just flagrant take down in the box... Anything less than an American football tackle should never be called there... Just my thoughts

I like running a 4-3-3 with a single pivot or a 4-1-4-1(depends on the speed I have to work with).

I prefer inverted wingers unless I have some Miroslav Klose heading master in the game. Honestly, dudes like that are cheaper than Vick on Madden 04 or Tebow on the NCAA games.

If I don't have anyone worthy of the pivot in defensive mid I'll run the 4-3-3 with a CAM. Online I find with people bombing the ball down the field there is no need for 2 defensive mid's. They just go over the top anyway.

I usually can have the ball for 60% easy and keep the game in their 3rd for the most part... Unless the other guy is really good on the sticks, then I am usually down to around 50% and lose because I honestly need a lot of the ball to win.

I want to know if I can take my manager mode squad and play with them in friendlies online.... My Celtic squad is so boss...

Would like to know how many seasons it took you to get Celtic to be relevant!

Any big names in the squad or a bunch of youth you brought up?

I have a mix, but have Gotze, Bale, Courtois for starters for big names...
