Alex Ferguson to hang his boots. A legend is leaving the game. Though I am an Arsenal fan, I had to post this. Sad day for the sport itself and English football as well.
Alex Ferguson retires as Manchester United manager - CNN.com
Certainly we can have a differences in opinion and I am not really a fan of Sir Alex myself. However, he did accomplish a lot. More importantly he did make the English Premiership much more entertaining with his rivalries and player interactions. I really enjoyed when Mourinho and Ferguson went at each other.A sad day? Not for me. Fergie is a legend, no one can take that from him. But he is a dbag.

First Thatcher dies, then Ferguson retires.
Somewhere there is a Scouser with a lamp and one wish left.
STFU? No sarcasm so I guess you are serious.....I am shocked!David Moyes is the new Manchester United manager
That was quick
He has kept an average Everton team in the top 6 for the last few years, but to my knowledge, no where near an elite manager. Is that a good get? Don't really no much about him.
To be fair, he never had the resources at Everton. He is good in developing and evaluating talent. Add a bit of resources I just don't see any reason why he cannot succeed at Man U.He has kept an average Everton team in the top 6 for the last few years, but to my knowledge, no where near an elite manager.
There is a Scouser now without a lamp or a third wish now....the circle is complete.

I think it would be entertaining to see Man City get Mourinho. But I still see him returning to Chelsea. You think City is gonna replace Mancini? Some chatter of it, but I'd disagree with it
