That's the first time City have dropped any points this year from a winning position in the league. Had 1-0 and 2-1 leads.
Levels, dude. FFS.
Liverpool will have lost the title due to draws with Brentford and Brighton from winning positions and that loss to a depleted Leicester is without question the one that will haunt them.
City leave zero room for any error, which is why when I see pundits saying Man United need three transfer windows to catch City and Liverpool, I have to laugh.
I certainly puts into perspective how long it will take before Newcastle are in position to dethrone them too.
IMO, Newcastle are in a much better position than United.
They just have to build a squad. United have to gut theirs, which is near impossible due to their wage structure, THEN build a squad. Instead of bringing in a manager and building a squad in his vision, their new manager (likely Ten Hag) will be hindered by the nonsensical squad that's been assembled by a combination of 4 other managers. That will make it hard to get results, and probably result in another managerial move in 18 months. Rinse, repeat. That club has officially run aground. It is nothing more than a corporation going forward.
