Columbus is a hockey town anyways
Laurent Blanc linked for the vacant USMNT manager role
I don't think it's the exciting hire that some want, but would be a step in the right direction. My biggest question is why would he want it now?

has worked in the US before (Tampa back in the day). Would be a good appointment i think.
Idk, we're not exactly in a relegation battle trying to stay afloat. And wasn't he removed from England over corruption allegations?
Again, improvement to Arena. Just don't know how much.

Allardyce is an intriguing possibility. I think his pie-eating, back-slapping, drinking-wine-in-a-pint-glass style would play well in the States. As dublin said, he will get us organized defensively, which we aren't at present. Attacking-wise, he tends to play a direct style and rely on a physical #9 as a target player, which Jozy might be good for (ironically, maybe, since Big Sam went on record when he was at Sunderland about what a good deal it was for Sunderland to trade Altidore away for Jermain Defoe). But I could see it working. Not sure it's a home run hire, but I'd be optimistic about it.
Spurs grab a point in Madrid, crazy.
Dortmund ties APOEL and has dropped 8 of 9 points so far.
Love it, what a result.
(Unrelated, but) I just checked the teamsheet for today's Barca match and I am still confused about how Gerard Deulofeu couldn't regularly get into the Everton team, but Barca still wanted him back. (On the other hand, I always liked Deulofeu and frankly thought he should have gotten more opportunities at Everton. But still.)
he did alright at Milan but the kid's problems are maturity/consistency
Is there a team in Europe playing better footie than Manchester City right now? Look to be most dominant side we have seen out of England in a while-- so far.
Anyone see Dzeko’s goal today? Can’t find quality link. Easy contender for goal of the year. So skillful so incredible

Everton are a complete dumpster fire
Spurs looking delicious against Liverpool right now. Set the Premier League single-game attendance record today.
