Wouldn’t drop them to number 4 w a 10+point loss? Yes could certainly go to 4. Especially after impressive wins by TT and Ga.
IU's resume is light years better than Texas Tech's. Only loss would be to the number one team in the nation in an "extra" game.
No way they penalize them lower than three even if they lose by 14+.

Fowler and Herbstreit were nauseating as the game went on. They weren’t even trying to be unbiased.

Flat out campaigning for Bama and the SEC. Disgusting
Hard to watch them the panel doing the Big 10 championship did appear to try be objective.

Yeah, ole Curbsteet has been politicking for the Canes big time the past week or so. Fuck him and his flea-infested dogs he's so proud of.

I mean, I will be grateful to be in, but don't love the A&M matchup at college station. I still think they have been the best and most consistent team in the SEC all season. I would rather play any other SEC team, to be honest. I think A&M is by far the most dangerous.

We won’t end up playing A&M. Pairings will adjust.

Wherever we play it will be tough. Those on campus atmospheres were crazy last year. Norman will be rocking. Freeman will have us ready if that’s what happens.

Assuming they leave Miami out, will they fuck with the back of the rankings to put Duke over JMU?

No chance

edit: to clarify, JMU was ranked 25th last week. Duke wasn't even in the top 25.

JMU won, so they'll prob get some sort of bump up. For Duke to get into the CFP, they would have to get ranked ahead of JMU. That's not happening.

If we have a playoff with Tulane and James Madison there will be some changing of the rules again because when we are arguing what 12 best teams should get in, Tulane and James Madison are nowhere near the level of best teams and will mark another2 byes essentially

If the committee had balls, it’d be:

8. ND - résumé boost + Bama drop
9. Miami (FL) - Bama drop + Storyline
10. Oklahoma - résumé took a hit

Gives everyone the Miami(FL)/ND answer in round one

I still think that the ACC is gonna get screwed in favor of Bama, though. SEC powers are going to be making a whole bunch of threats behind closed doors today.

I'm hoping they adjust Oklahoma's best win for the fact that Alabama sucks and the Sooners (or Hurricanes) come to South Bend

I want Miami to make it because if we make a run I want the dream scenario of avenging both of our loses. Don’t know if that’s a possibility or if we will be forced to lose twice to a team but that would be the Hollywood story I’d love to see my first Nattie under these circumstances.
