Dia daoibh,
Okay, now I watched the game in person and on TV. And I watched it over until I understood.
So let us do the basic course. The reason Kissme is a genius and I have defended her in the past is because she channels the "Wisdom of the Crowd." I am not going to go into an indepth chaos theory lesson; suffice it to say, if you have a hundred people that make guesses as to how many marbles in a jar, some are going to be high, some low, but even with the ones that are way off, the highs and lows will balance each other out. So you will get a good average; spooky accurate.
Denard sucks: Does not literally mean he is a straw, so what does it mean? The long and the short is you have a nice guy, with a specific elite talent that has been built up to be something he isn't:
Denard is a nice guy.
Denard has wheels.
Denard can take a hit.
But Denard is not a one man wrecking crew.
Denard sucks as a quarterback, because Denard can't plant his feet, his footwork sucks, so his accuracy sucks, and by the way, his decision making really sucks.
Now do you want to see what Michigan fans say?

Just back from that dump they call a city. A few thoughts...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Not that impressed with ND defense. Even an average passing quarterback maybe has 2 picks vs. what that defense posed. A below average passing qb like Denard had 4[and a below average halfback had one, which was good enough to score a TD the previous week and several times the previous season], all bad picks. We gained 300 yards, on the road and would have scored at least 17 points with an average qb, even with 3 turnovers, not 6.
2) J.T. Floyd was considering the NFL last year? His coverage on that last play was inexcusable for a four year starter.
3) The O.Line is improving. Even on most of Denard's picks, he had enough time, just made bad decisions. Bigger holes in the run game even against a supposed awesome front 7.
4) ND is good, much better this year than they have been which isn't saying much. They will likely get exposed by USC, Stanford, Oklahoma and others. If they don't. I will be shocked.
So this Walmart Wolverine, as well as a multitude of others stated that because our defense was bad, and most other things about Michigan was good, then Denard really sucks.
(From a football standpoint, decision making aside those turnovers including the fumble were taken, not given.)
About ten times on our way out of the stands we heard, "Denard Sucks!" We didn't stop to check to see if those fans actually had any equipment or not, to determine if the were WW's or not, but we guessed most were. (I have never seen such a classless fan base, the birdflipping, spitting, sacreligous, drunkeness . . . yet I met some really awesome Law school students, Kwame & Co.)
What I do not like is with the stout denial of Kissme's attackers on this thread, a great defense is being presented for the myth. Myths have reasons, this one is to perpetuate the dysfunction of the ND faithful. Building Denard to mythical perportions serves to offer ND an excuse to be slow and stupid, and to not compete with the best. And then when you finally do build a program, you invalidate the praise of those who worked hard, and built a winner by robbing them of fair acknowledgement by saying "Denard sucks (afterall)!"
Danny Spond and Bjax beat Denards @ss all afternoon. I mean like a rug. And Manti hit him so hard that a normal person would not have gotten up. Sheldon Day out ran him, and sacked him more by himself than how many teams last season? (SD>>>AL) Stephon was all over him, so bad that he confused Denard. (Big people can't move that fast!)
So the multi-headed super human beast Denard sucks; the real man I am sorry for, because his whole fan base is selling him out after one of his best efforts ever.
Kissme, thank you for your wisdom! Walmart Wolverines, you are right, Denard sucks! Go Irish - Téigh Gaeilge!
Beir bua agus beannacht,
