I am actually more interested in the game than I would be if it was the same team that played through the season. We know that team. It was okay but a bit disappointing. If Sam was QB I’d probably be less likely to watch it than I am with Angeli at QB. Also getting to see more Faison, Jaghusa etc.I have less care about the outcome of this bowl game than any I’ve watched since I was a small kid. Got our extra practices, excellent. Passed that, the outcome matters so little I’m not even planning to watch the game live. I cared more about tracking down a free access to watch the Stanford game than this steamer.
This is my exact viewpoint.I sort of view this as an extra spring game. 15 extra practices, especially for the OL. That’ll be 60 practices before next year.
Not me. Spring games are garbage. This is going to be a full throttle game. 10 wins on the line or a humiliating loss potentially.I sort of view this as an extra spring game. 15 extra practices, especially for the OL. That’ll be 60 practices before next year.

By all means, don’t watch and spare us your post-game comments. A win-win for all! This game will be too
what on earth makes you think that? This game will be too
I appreciate your opinion. Really.By all means, don’t watch and spare us your post-game comments. A win-win for all!
Just the amount of players not playing, coaching turnover, lack of preparation, crap bowl and lack of motivation is my guess.what on earth makes you think that?
the only one of those I agree takes away from this game is it is a crap bowl.Just the amount of players not playing, coaching turnover, lack of preparation, crap bowl and lack of motivation is my guess.
I'm getting both excited and nervous for this game. I think both on paper and following our recruiting as closely as I do that we have a very slight edge but I just read how Oregon State has some really good freshman linebackers in Chisom and Jordan ready to make a statement. The OSU coach was a really good linebacker for them back in the day and if there is any position they can prep for after all the opt-outs it is probably this one. I know this seems like just a high school practice game at this point but I'm not sure which side is the Varsity squad. I just don't want to lose to them again. It must be a small list of teams that we have never beaten in multiple attempts and I would like to take the Beavers off of it.
Agreed. Love what I saw last time ND played in the Sun Bowl in 2011. A throttling of Miami.Shit I’m excited to get to watch the Irish play football one more time and see some of the young guys show what they can do. Enjoy the final opportunity to see a few guys and new beginnings for others. I hope Gino opens it up and lets the kids have some fun.
Thank god we got the site back up and running in time for this.I'm getting both excited and nervous for this game. Tons of talent will be on the field! We may have a lot of new faces on the field, but once the game starts, I'm not going to be analyzing every play with a "If Alt had been in, we don't give up a sack", or "if Estime had been in we pick up that first down". LFG boys!
IP waiting for IE to come back so that he can parade his "Irishness"Thank god we got the site back up and running in time for this.

Most will be already cued in to this, but please folks don't overreact either towards the new OLine OR our vet RBs if we don't just roll with our running attack. We KNOW that our RBs are good, but we know that Estime DID carry us in certain types of games. We might not excel in all of that in this odd situation. By next Fall, our OLine will (should) have gelled into a typical mauler-winner, and our coaching staff will (should) have adapted our running game to Love, Payne, Price. But it might be too much to ask it of THIS game. Seeing how far the staff has managed to bring on the change is why I'm VERY interested in the game. I'm glued to the line-of-scrimmage even more than usual this time.
