I’m just setting my own low expectations, that way when he balls out on Friday I’m even more elated (and drunk) in the stands!

I know there’s plenty on IE that are used to low expectations

More importantly, My Man Mitch, was bootin the ball through the uprights!

Seems strange that ND offered that look up. Love obviously didn't want to "stretch" that side. But, then yeah, he is doing agility drills with no signs of "taking it easy".

Also, they labeled Cross at the beginning, that was Jagusah. Shrauth still with a very large brace.

Also, Carr looked...healthy??

Man, we are beat up. This team would be the favorite if we were healthy.

Your last 2 sentences…I know everyone is beat up and everybody loses players to injury, but damn I wish we were fully healthy! If we don’t win it all, there will be so many ‘what if’s’ with regards to having BenMo, Bothelo, Traore, even Jagusah. I just hope that we win and KVA can come back. He’s really valuable rushing the passer (amongst other things.)

having Jagusah back could be really nice for depth up front. Hope Love is ready to run wild but I anticipate we might see more JD Price. Having two awesome backs is such a luxury.

He didn't look to be anywhere near full strength. Just getting back in the swing of things but you could tell he didn't want to "push" much.

I would hazard a bet that if we lost all of our tackles (ALL of them), they'd slide Mayer in to play tackle before Jagusah saw a snap this season. He isn't ready and I don't believe he should be considered "insurance", I'll eat moldy crow if I'm wrong.

Notre Dame is the only program in the country ranked in the top five of scoring offense and scoring defense. It’s one of four schools ranked in the top 10 in yards per play on both sides.

I think they will go with some version of the Louisville/USC gameplan, run the ball and throw deep. Our run D stats aren't amazing although some of that is due to playing Army and Navy.

I'm not worried about Love until I need to be. Having a brace and heavy wrap is just precautionary. Kind of hard to flex and stretch completely when you're wrapped up like that.

Sounds like jeter is still struggling with head part of the game. And the conditions aren't going to be that good. So if it’s 4th and short we are going for it.
