Indiana has been impressive this year, but for fun if they played Bama or ND schedule what do you have their record as?
Bama schedule I'd have them 6-6
ND schedule 7-5

Bama's schedule: 9-3 with losses at UGA, Tennessee and LSU. SCar would be the toss up game but I gave the edge to Indiana because SCar really came alive later in the season.

Notre Dame's schedule: 10-2 with losses to A&M and Louisville. Louisville could be a win but I think they were the inverse of SCar (hot early), so I think they would lose to them. Service Academies are hard to call because they make things weird but I think Indiana is better.

Maybe, but I was trying to pretend like they were playing the teams on the same dates. I think late season USC that isn't playing a rival (like ND) is thoroughly disinterested.

Bama- I had Mizzu, SC and then dropping one of OU or AUB. They just don't have the athletes those teams do.

ND- A&M, Lville, and I think they lose 3/4 to Army, Navy, Ga tech and USC.

The QB finished with 68 passing yards and the RB had 79 on the day. OSU literally dominated them bad bad after that first 75 yard drive. ND 42-13

I don't buy this. There may be some, but the majority of the 60-80 year old crowd I see at the games will stand. I don't mind different uni's, but the traditional roadies are the best.

Cook family donates a ton of money to IU. I'd assume that's the bulk of it. IU has a lot of wealthy alum though so hard to say for sure. I doubt it's Cuban though.

IU's b-ball is the same. They became a 'Buy-A-Team'. They can't recruit b-ball anymore. So, FB is following suit ... NIL $, NIL$ and more NIL$!

They spent $5M on their roster this year and got embarrassed by Louisville and Zaga in the Bahamas. People are over Coach Woodson in this state.

I think IU basketball recruits fine (based on star value). They are either not developing them, or the recruiting services really suck in basketball. Feels like they get a min of 1+ 5* a year.

Yes and no. They spent $5M on their roster this year so that played a huge role. There are ton of Coach Woodson stories circulating lately about how he hates recruiting and just won't do it. Too much ego.

Did I miss the memo? Are we wearing some stupid combination, again, now? Traditions matter — or they used to. Notre Dame wears gold helmets, navy jerseys (at home), white jerseys (on the road), and gold pants. This season, we broke the school record for the most uniform variations worn in a season. We wore a half dozen different uniform combinations this year….

You never see Alabama rolling out all of these odd combinations….or Georgia….or Penn State….or Texas….

Stick to your traditions and don’t be a prisoner of the moment. We’re Notre Dame, not some low rent program that utilizes multiple uniform variations in order to market its program.

Show up in blue and gold and beat the crap outta IU!
