Sure...beat Clemson, tOSU & Alabama and you got your natty. ND isn’t there yet...may never be unless they move their campus to Atlanta or whatever else they need to do to attract the same “dudes” that those 3 aforementioned perennial powers sign.

In the meantime, ND has a chance to win the ACC and then tell that same conference “peace out” as they return to independent status. You take that everyday & twice on Sunday, if you can.

You’re right. This team isn’t responsible for 2012 or 2018...but perception is reality & the perception of Notre Dame is they get put amongst the elite to compete for nattys when they don’t belong & then get emasculated. Win tomorrow & that goes away.

I have no prediction for this game. I’m still floored from winning the first one! All I can say is I believe we can win the big game again, and I believe we can get it done again today. Go Irish!!!

They say it's hard to beat the same team twice in a year. But how often does the team that wins the first matchup get so much disrespect? 10.5 point dog to a team you already have proven you can beat? I think our guys are going to be motivated today.

I think Kyle Hamilton is going to be a monster today. Clemson will game plan around JOK. Trevor Lawrence running being matched with Hamilton spying and stopping him all over the field.

I think he steps up with a "remember me" game. 1 interception and 1 fumble forced and a ton of tackles.

Kelly was a prickly pear in his last interviews to say the least. Seems the team is pissed and ready to explode.

DJ may have to finish this game for Clemson.

I hope not...then we'll have to listen to the media use that as an excuse for another ND win...then be underdogs in a possible 3rd matchup in Jan. Haha

I'm hoping this is the game Lenzy is full health and not held back... two speed threats with Lenzy and Davis then Ben in the slot and McKinley working the body shots -- could open up a lot of space to work.

The big question is: Is Clemson in with 2 losses. Nothing guarantees that. At best they are #4. And we are #2. Clemson is not beating Bama, so there will not likely be a third game between Clemson and the Irish, unless we lose a relatively close one today.

I think NDs defensive line will play its best game of the season and dominate with a nasty edges. Also think Clarence Lewis is going to have a coming out party on national TV. I watched game day...who did the Fox crew pick?

Just had a major freak out... realized the cable company elected to put the bills game on instead of ND in WNY. Can't find ND anywhere and the cable company has no solutions... finally found out that espn3 will have it.

HOLY FUCK ... way too close for comfort

The NFL playing games on the Saturday of CCs is just dumb. A TV station or cable company not figuring out how to air both, approaching all time stupid.
