I'm sure nothing will come of it. Just thought it was funny.

Would be funny if during discovery she agrees to a biological test and comes back XX. Bishop may never return to this site in that case lol.

That would be interesting, but my guess is they won't submit to that kind of test since both Khelif and Lin decided not to appeal the IBA's ruling once the initial testing was done. I don't see how you refuse an appeal unless you stand no chance at passing.

Weren't they disqualified after she had already finished competing? Maybe I have the timeline wrong but I thought she won the bronze metal match and it was after that when they both beat Russians that suddenly they decided they should be ineligible.

Could be that she knew she was guilty of juicing and knew her test was too high. Or that the IBA is a corrupt sham of an organization and she had no hope of them overturning their decision no matter what the facts of the case are. They still have never released what the supposed test she failed was.

cracking down on inconvenient protests that could ruin your “joy” at the DNC = Good

Cracking down on protests that cause billions of damage to small businesses and kill people = Evil

Voting for the left is committing cultural suicide. I can't believe people stand up for this shit, but we're in the process of voting it in ourselves in the US.

“Cultural Suicide” you say?

Weird how people seem to forget that Europeans decided to burn the entire continent to the ground, gas each other and kill millions of each other in the process twice in just a little over 20 years and it had nothing to do with “the left”?

In fact, the more “leftist” Europe has become the more peaceful it has gotten.

When I think of peaceful cultural flourishing, I think of the Soviet Union

And you can just completely forget which side of the political aisle currently wants to import the third world, abandon any attempts to police it, and jail those who speak out in protest. Can you not say that both the historic example of authoritarian right wing regimes and their expansionist racist world views are bad and the current self-defeating left wing ideology that is crushing these countries is bad as well (I agree that they are not equal, but both still bad)

Umm, someone want to tell Bluto about those 30 million or so of their own citizens the Soviets starved to death or murdered in the name of ethnic cleansing and promoting the "mostly peaceful" ideals of his beloved socialism and communism?

You are conflating economic policy with political structure. The two are not the same.

If by “The Soviets” you mean Stalin, yeah he was a dictator and a terrible person who killed all kinds of people including fellow Communists during the great purge.

On the other hand most of the social democracies in present day Europe are quite nice.

Let’s not leave out Israel. Google the term Kibbutz. I’ve heard they are pretty nice as well.

Lastly, Marxism, Socialism and Communism are all concepts developed in Europe by Europeans. I’m not surprised this fact seems to be lost on many of the dunderheads who are “European culture is the greatest ever!” while at the same time poopooing these very European ideas as Satan incarnate.

Uhhh…if you mean the service industry, farming and meat processing as the side of the political aisle that wants to import the third world I would say you are correct. All three rely on large pools of cheap labor.

You honestly think left wing ideology is “crushing” Europe?

I mean, one of the countries that seems to have the most problems lately in my opinion is Britain. Their own citizens were recently running around burning shit and beating each other up and that country has for some time now been the poster child for austerity and neoliberal economic policy within Europe.

You're ignoring the fact that Europe is being overrun by migrants! See, those Leftist policies has lead to this. Only fair that such Leftist haven's like the UK and France have to handle this.

That is likely the thought you'll get from...um....European culture enthusiasts.

Never mind, that there really hasn't been a Leftist power in recent times. Unironically, I think there's a number of people who see Rishi Sunak and think WOKE!

It's like they've already crossed the bridge that US intervention into the middle east was bad, important first step for them, but like is there any further thought to imperialism might be to blame for the displacement of people? Who knows, maybe they genuinely believe that TV man telling them that they're invading because they want to destroy cultures or that they've been keeping abreast with up to date political promises from politicians they couldn't even name in the hopes they can get all that free money.

Saw this was trending today. It's kinda funny, makes some good points along the way too.

What do they have right in ya'lls opinion, and what do they get wrong (if anything)?

There is some language in here, and they end with some slurs in the final minute, may want to skip that part if you're so inclined. The rest is interesting outside of the end imo.

I've only watched through the abortion section, but I feel like these kids can be broken down into 3 groups: kids that are not prepared and shouldn't be there, kids that are prepared and bring some good points, and then there's the TikTok verbal vomit.

The later brings up some good points, but some points get lost in a tirade of text as he tries to overwhelm the debate with input. He also goes off on some tangents right from the get go like bringing up pedophilia in biblical times when discussing abortion today, lots of red herrings. He answers a lot of questions with his own questions to avoid getting caught in a logic fallacy. You see similar strategies from Harry Sisson when he grills people on the street. The idea is to just inundate your debate target with information, speak as fast as possible, and don't give them equal time to respond as you run out the clock. If I had to guess this is a poly sci/pre-law major.

My wife went to Nashville this past weekend to help a friend of hers finalize the sale of a home the friend inherited.

Anyhow, she sent me some videos of the “Nashville scene”. Shit looks like a goddamn nightmare. Apparently a large segment of the nightlife consists of drunk as shit bachelorette parties. Lol.

I'm struggling with my 7th grader's social studies classroom having a massive pride flag and other weird/woke posters/flags .... and no American Flag. Open house night I tell the teacher (who looks like he just rolled out of a yurt) I see a lot of flags but no American one, that really isn't appropriate for middle school but I would be a lot more tolerant if there were an American flag in the room. He claimed he agreed and he just moved into the room. I offered to buy an American Flag and he said that wasn't necessary. I make a point to track down the principal in the hallway later, "hey lots of flags in there but no American ones, totally inappropriate for middle school." He agreed and said he would look into it. Three weeks later, decor has not changed according to my son. Am I wrong to take that as a total FU by the staff? How am I to feel about their comfort in lying to my face in the only interaction they would normally have with me?

They probably don't care what you think and only responded as they did to keep from having to defend their position.
