1) This is a loser mentality, and completely irrelevant to the topic at hand.
2) No one in America is denied healthcare. We can have arguments for weeks about the financing of healthcare, but no one is denied care. Not even people here illegally.
3) The biggest killer in the US is heart disease, which comes down to diet, exercise, and sometimes genetics. US politicians aren't killing Americans.

Both are bad, but my stance is the probability points to one over the other both in number of events and number of people killed.
In column A make a list of all the terror attacks committed by Christian extremists in the US since 2001. In column B make a list of all the terror attacks committed by Muslim extremists in the US since 2001. Include those killed if you really wanna dive into it. Then you might realize why people have some level of concern. It's not living in fear, it's recognizing the reality of modern day bad guys (and girls).

Religious fanatics of all stripes are bad.
Brandishing an entire religion over it's most radical members is insane. You get into really dehumanizing thoughts when you do that. Not saying people here are radicals, but if you normalize the "Muslims have a significant portion that want to kill people or enact sharia law" you're going to have radicals take that as their call to action.

Really hard to arrive at that conclusion without hearing from the guy. Police killed him before he could talk. People can speculate for years but trial witnesses say he "became angry" the day of the shooting when he saw a gay couple kissing outside a restaurant.
And when he was talking to hostage negotiators, he said he was doing this in retaliation for US bombings on ISIS.

Again the point of the conversation was never to say one group is better or worse than the other. It has always been about religious extremism being bad regardless of the religion. And that only one really has the power politically to wield any power.
