This thread is to poke fun about some of the over the top comparisons we're making, as everyone's getting excited about the season. This is in no way meant to be offensive, just a place some of the crazy comparisons that come up and hopefully look back and see how accurate we were

So far, I've heard some funny ones.

TJ Jones being no different than Robert Woods,
Greg Bryant being the next Todd Gurley/TJ Yeldon,
Justin Brent reminds someone of Andre Johnson,
And the one I must own from a few months ago, EV could be making as many plays as Nix by seasons end. Needless to say I was very high on EV.

Rewatch BYU. That was a terrible offensive game and we were damn lucky Theo had a great game.

I am sorry, I just don't get the positive vibe that many others have. There was a reason why EG was the starter. Thinking we will not skip a beat by losing the best QB on the roster seems unlikely. I hope I am wrong.

I don't disagree. We sucked vs. BYU. I wouldn't pin that all on QB play, but Rees definitely wasn't strong last year. But this isn't the best place to get into this discussion.
