Victorian village is a popular area in Columbus. The arena district and short north are within stumbling distance.

Hey Kuenja... what's up with the g-friend?
Are you just getting out of college? Are you pretty serious with this young lady? Just trying to get my mind wrapped around that part of the situation. Did you put a plan together for that (assuming you want to stay with her)?
... Place #4: $500 per month, roommate looks really boring (Damn hippie), but it's 2.5 miles from work and located at 5000 Crescent Dr., Hilliard, OH.
We've been together for 1.5 years. Honest, strong relationship, but she's staying in Wisconsin at least 6 more months to finish teaching where she does.
I just got my MBA, so yes, out of college but I'm 27 too. But if I'm moving to Columbus, I'm looking to make friends, so I want to live where it's 'happening'. I like to party on weekends. Not like I used to when I was 21, but I enjoy social cocktails.
She plans to move to Columbus after spring of 2014. We're serious, but I'm kind of slow to settle down. I have no plans to get married anytime soon. But faithful? Yes. 100%, both ways.
I'm just trying to give some advice, as I went through almost an identical situation (albiet Denver vs Columbus... I win!), but you can tell me to shove it if you don't want to go there. But how old is the ol' lady? Did she just get out of college?
People change a lot in their lives. Especially, well... specifically in their mid-late 20's. I'm not basing that off of just my experiences, but rather every single person I know into their 30's.
She's 23. I'm a cradle robber! Lol.
Hey, I'll take any advice available!
I do understand that we could grow apart. I can tell I'm handling this move better than she is, but she's being pretty good about it overall.
ill take both of you out for a night on the town.

different area codes bro...plus it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission so you're good to go
That's always easy to say when you're the the one asking for forgiveness. ha.
ahhhh..... my gf was 23 during my comparable situation too (I was 23 too though).
Send me a pm if you want to hear about it. Frankly, it may or may not help you. It's a cautionary tale, and it may or may not be of any help, but I would be happy to tell you my (and what I have seen as the likely scenario from other people's situation) story.
I'll bite.
My ex (4.5 years) and I were doing long distance (Columbus vs. NY) and it didn't work out in the end. The nice thing about Columbus is you become Bill Russell once you are single. All of the rebounds.
You guys make it sound like the land of milk and honey, lol. Where the women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrono.
GK, we'll get a beer sometime?
Hippie Haters Gonna Hate Hippies!
I found some APTs I liked: The View on High
222 East 11th, , 320 East 17th, 331 East 18th, 350 East 12th, 1366 East Indianola,
77 East 7th.
Smack dab in the middle of OSU frat-central.
This is in Weinland Park...aka the place where white people go to die.
If you're in NY, yeah!
Speaking of which, are you near East Village? We're staying here next weekend: SoHo Hotel Accommodations: Chic SoHo Lodging in Standard Rooms
Plus it's across the street from OSU. It's right on High Street so there is a nonstop flow of 19-year old drunk chicks roaming around.
That's great by how close is it to the football facilities? For balance he also needs to be able to check out the arms and abs of guys on the football team.
Don't need it.
I'm just going to go to kinkos and get a fathead made of Greg Bryant doing the ladder drill. Shirtless, naturally. Jaylon Smith doing pull ups. Shirtless. And Niklas giving his speech last year.
