Yeah. I dislike Franklin heavily, but that's about the best situation he can go to.

He'll recruit well, the school/fans will be ecstatic with 9-10 win seasons, and the ACC isn't a gauntlet so I expect he'll be able to have them lurking in the playoff hunt after a few years if he sticks around.

Yes. I believe he was gone when Jimbo got the extension but his dumb ass likely would’ve doubled it so aTm has that going for him…which is nice.

This Landry guy has been in Louisiana politics since 2007. He won the 2023 election by 26 points. If he wrecks his political career because of the LSU head football coaching position, it's a scenario far too delicious for me not to fully enjoy.
