Is Cal no longer woke now they hired Harsin (adulterer) and Rolovich (anti vax maga)?

Getting your stereotypes mixed up? Christians (or other religions) and Family Values™ types are the ones that consider adultery a sin. It's a "that's between you people" attitude with whatever subgroup is woke that day.

Since Notre Dame has so much money, let’s say hypothetically Freeman is so successful that he eventually goes back to his alma mater. Would you consider it a good offer without having any college experience to go big money towards Dan Campbell? He would never take the job, but let’s say it was an offer he couldn’t refuse. Would he be worth it? Would the culture change forever with a guy like that? I love what Freeman is doing, but someday we’re gonna have to find the continuation. Before you call that crazy remember that the Tar Heels just hired the Saban of the NFL.

I considered the Saban of the NFL comment, and will still call you crazy.

Who is Dan Campbell?
This post/comment would make more sense if it was the young LA Rams coach that won a few years ago that you were talking about. That is who ND should go all in on one day.

New Mexico hires Idaho's Jason Eck as new HC

The Lobos have found their replacement for Bronco Mendenhall. They hired Eck, one day after his Vandals team lost in the FCS playoffs. The 47-year-old coached Idaho for three seasons, during which time he went 26-13 and guided the Vandals to a playoff appearance each year. Before that, he was an assistant coach for six seasons at South Dakota State.

Wasn't the adulterer stuff a bunch of BS made up by Auburn boosters in an effort to get Harsin fired?

Freeman gets an extension and you're already talking about his replacement? That's some serious long range planning.

I get that it's just New Mexico, but Bronco Mendenhall seems to really jump around a lot. Between the abrupt retirement at UVA, then coming back after 2 seasons away, and now leaving UNM after a single season for Utah State?

He was at BYU for 10 years, UVA for 5.

He's jumping a lot... lately?

I'm still not sure why he left BYU for UVA. Had he worn out his welcome? His total stay at UVA is irrelevant for my point: he left rather unexpectedly, reversed course after 2 years, and only spent 1 season at a place he had a history at (UNM). My impression is that he isn't quite sure what he wants at this point in his career.

Can't say.

He's 58 years old. Played at Oregon State and had been at BYU for a long time. Maybe he wanted something different. He never had a losing season there.

Yeah I actually think he's a pretty decent coach, great hire for the Aggies if he stays.

I'm wondering the same thing. So they just think he's done the most he can there so it's time to move along?
