If he has a choice between Florida and UCLA it's Florida by a country mile.

The coaching dynamic in the state of Florida is about to be fascinating. Will be interesting how Miami recruiting does, as well as USF/UCF/FAU etc do.

Not if UCLA would commit to winning. Chip knows the PAC 12 and there's no shortage of talent to recruit. He wouldn't have to go through Georgia and Alabama every year to win a title either.

Florida at their best has always been better than Georgia at their best. UCLA when hiring Mora were said to be committed to winning. I think UCLA is an over rated job.

Agree Florida is a "better" job, but it doesn't have to be. UCLA is one of those sleeping giant programs that could be a playoff contender with the right coach and mindset. And they'd have an easier road there than Florida.

Again you think more of the UCLA job than I do. There is no real excitement around UCLA football. Never really has been. USC is always going to be the team in LA. I just don't think people really care about UCLA football in SoCal.

Sure. And no having an on campus stadium hurts them. But if UCLA were able to be consistently good they'd be plenty popular. SoCal supports winners, and UCLA has a huge alumni base.

All that being said if Kelly isn't going to Florida then he goes to UCLA. Got to believe he's a lock for one of those two jobs.

It may be happening, Gators fans.

Buddy Martin, a Florida-based journalist and radio host who also happened to co-author Steve Spurrier’s autobiography, “Head Ball Coach: My Life in Football,” sent out a huge nugget on Sunday evening.

Martin posted on Twitter that he learned from sources that top officials from Florida are in New Hampshire meeting with Chip Kelly.

Those UF officials are reportedly set to present Kelly with a contract for him to sign to become the Gators’ next head football coach.

A **** ton of current UF players just all tweeted simply the “thinking” emoji.

Some 21st century breaking news.

It was Mora’s birthday today. And they are paying his 12 million buy out.

FootballScoop has Oregon’s Taggart as received offer from Ole miss

Schiano and Mullen for the Tennessee job.

Schiano IMO would be a terrible hire.

At UT in particular or as any HC? Guy did a very good job at Rutgers. I'm intrigued by what he will do at another program. Wonder if his time with Meyer will help.

I hear more chip Kelly to UCLA than anywhere else

Chip Kelly to UCLA would be awesome. I could definitely see him stealing some serious recruits from boring ass Clay Helton.

Mullen would be a great hire for Tennessee. Taggart leaving Oregon for Ole Miss makes zero sense.

Well, hell, if Taggart is in play to Ole Miss, who knows what might happen. But why would Jimbo Fisher ever leave FSU for Auburn? Would love to see Ken N. get the promotion he clearly deserves, be it to Nebraska or Oregon State, just to get him off our schedule.

Predictions:
Florida: Scott Frost
Tennessee: Dan Mullen
UCLA: Chip Kelly
Nebraska: Ken. N.
Miss. State: Les Miles
Ole Miss: Charlie Strong
Arkansas: Mike Norvell

Arkansas will definitely make a play for Malzahn who is from there. May even give him say in who new AD would be. I don't think he feels he has had the best support from Auburn administration. Can't see Strong at Ole Miss. Think Miss. St. would go the young coach route as they did with Mullen. Neal Brown from Troy would be a great choice. Burch Jones to Oregon State makes sense. If Fisher stays put at FSU I think Strong to Auburn would make a ton of sense with his ability to recruit Florida. We haven't even mentioned Texas A@M if they dump Sumlin.

You think any P5 school would give in to running the option full time? That would be risky IMO. I don't think he's ever ran anything other than the option but maybe someone else can confirm or deny that.

Ken would be a fool IMO to leave Navy.
