The 2 minute drill defense is a disaster (typically zone with insufficient pass rush). The 4Q TD also of course being a 2 minute drill TD as well.

It also feels like the opposing OC has a better counter punch schematically to early happenings in the game.

They need to entirely re-evaluate 2 minute drill approach. That means who are your pass rushers, LBs in coverage, and coverage overall.

The biggest indictment of him being a terrible DC is how often he puts players in bad situations. Golden knew the players strengths and weaknesses better than damn near any college DC I've seen. Too often players are asked to do things they're not good at. I firmly believe that's why the defense looks so much slower. They're all thinking way too much and can't play fast

This is going to be a problem. You have limited depth and your recruits parents are tweeting about it. That’ll do wonders for recruiting.

Nobody is going to fire a key assistant in the middle of a season until you have nothing left to play for. Even then, it's borderline unthinkable with no upside versus just reassigning people.

Not sure about the Carr thing but I've seen his tweets come up enough to know that he's going to be a really annoying person to have associated with the program while his son is around.
