Its fun to see young guys producing, regardless of if they're good.. Davis Martin seems to be producing at a very high clip, which is great. Sean Burke has settled in, and Noah Schultz seems to be legit too. 4 of the SPs have + WAR

Montgomery is the real deal, leads all shortstops from July 1 2025 in HR, RBI, SLG, 5th in OPS & wRC, 3rd fWAR. That is wonderful. Also, how about a positive, we have 7 starting position players in + WAR, when is the last time you can say that.

Pain. Idk how anyone on the Tigers training staff still has a job with the bevy of injuries they've had over the first 5 weeks.

CWS definitely the early surprise of the MLB season I think. The division is trash. Up for grabs.

Mune had two mune-shots last night that if there wasn't a 20+ mph wind blowing in, are probably homers. It's crazy anticipating an xbh every time he and Colson step to the plate. Haven't had that in 3-4 years--possibly longer.

Fedde’s record isn’t great, but he’s actually pitched pretty well recently…he’s just had awful run support.

I am taking them seriously now. They're fun, but in this AL Central, they're in it. The AL overall isn't very good so even a wild card is possible

Want to see how the rest of May plays out but I'm definitely looking at the White Sox as something more than fun now.

I'm not ruling out Grady Emerson yet. The tea leaves suggest it is closer to a toss up than most people realize, and it is certainly closer than it was a few weeks ago. Comes with potentially higher upside, and savings to use on other picks. That's White Sox 101. Not to mention the Giants are trying to tempt Cholowsky with an over slot bonus at 4.

I just don't rule anything out with this franchise. Cholowsky is the obvious no brainer pick. Which is why they'd pick Emerson instead. They're the White Sox.
