I think they'll deal him bc he's a FA after this year. There's no point keeping him if he's not getting a deal after this season. The real question is whether they get an offer good enough to move cease.

They’ll have a ton of money this off-season. Grandal won’t be picked up, Lynn’s option won’t be picked up, Hendricks they’ll trade and Clevinger they won’t pick up that’s roughly 65 million

If the sox do it right they can be really good again in 3-4 years. What might save them is their 2022 draft was actually really really good. Also they have some future guys that our prospects who I think will be good MLB players. I would start off by trading Cease, Giolito, Anderson, Hendricks, Kelly and Gravemen. You keep Robert, Vaughn, Eloy, Burger, Find a team to take Sheets, you keep Moncda for now.
Some interested guys who I think will be good MLB players in 2-3 years.
Bryan Ramos is gonna be a stud I think he can play 3B/2nd Base and hits for power
Colson Montgomery is the future SS
Oscar Colas is your future RF
Terrell Tatum, Loidel Chapellli, and Jordan Sprinkle are guys who I think can be good MLB players in 3-4 years.
Pitching:
You keep Kopech.
Noah Schultz is a future #1
Christian Mena is gonna be a good pitcher for us
Peyton Pallette and Jonathan Cannon I think are gonna be in the rotation in 2-3 years.

Amazing to me that 1 week out from the All Star break and the Sox are 4.5 out in the Central. It truly is a dogshit division. The bright spots have been Robert is playing out of his mind, Vaughn has looked very nice, and a great situational hitter. Andrus, should not be an everyday 2B at this point. When will we actually develop a catcher? The pen has been nice, but does Grifol know how to manage the staff, in close games, my thoughts are no. Does Jerry waive the white flag before the trade deadline with Gio, Graveman, and the other guys who's contracts are up, or does he actually try to make the playoffs in a very gettable division. Need to sweep those A's.

The combined run differential in the AL Central stands at -253, which is significantly worse than the next closest division, the NL Central, with a differential of -77. In contrast, the AL Central has a collective run differential of +250 - a mere 500-run difference between the two divisions.

I have no idea how bad this is historically but it strikes me as staggering.

I would make everyone available minus Robert unless you get some crazy good offer. I think it’s a combination of the players tapping out and not wanted to play for a cheap owner. The amount of money they have in the bullpen should be a fireable offense in itself. You should be able to get a good return for Giolito, I’d trade Gravemen, Trade Middleton, no way in hell Grandal or Lynn’s options are picked up. On the fence about Hendricks. The one solid plus is we had a crazy good 2022 draft theres 3-4 guys who will be good starters
