And we think we have problems as Irish fans. I watched the first half and was like, yeah they got this....time to go clean the boat out before the new one comes. Get done and bam....lost.

I watched the Bears and lived/died by them through the 70s, 80s ( a good decade), 90s, and into the 2000's. I recall in the early 1990s being at the Players Club in Toledo soaking up the Boos as the Bears were just destroying every team in the NFC Central-glorious.

There came a point when the Bears just stopped giving a F*&%k. Circa Smoking Jay is when I bowed out. My brothers tried to suck me in a few years ago when they made the playoffs-I watched a game and they got their a$$ handed to them. I watch a few minutes of the first game of the season this year-they sucked-even playing the Packers absent Rogers. Saw the score yesterday, 21-7.I was not at all surprised they lost-even chuckled when I checked to confirm my suspicions of them losing.

You should only be asking for the Bears address to gain some financial contribution to your mental health if your a Bears fans.

I don’t remember that. Did Cutler really smoke a cigarette on the sidelines of a game? Post game? What’s the story there?

Maybe in the 50s you’d really see that, but that’s the internet

Williams and MHjr?
That seems to be the consensus.

I'd trade one down to Arizona for their two picks. Now you have three. Get OL. Any OL.

I don't know what to think of Marvin Harrison Jr. anymore based on the recent receipts. I think he might suffer this year because McCord isn't any good. Maybe that changes in the next couple of months.

Shitty game to bet tonight. Think I’ll go Kmet anytime TD. Any other suggestions are welcome

I sure hope not. Last thing this franchise needs to do is waste another pick on a qb, but then again it is the Bears. I'd still like to think that Fields could be the guy, I mean he's played well the last 2 games. I could never bring myself to watch them again if they had a POS like Williams under center, the very thought is cringeworthy.

Ever since the Bears traded picks to get Trubisky, I've lost interest in them. That entire organization is a joke.

Don't get me wrong. I'm wearing a Bears hoodie now and I'm going to the Bears/Raiders game in a couple of weeks. I just don't get my hopes up over the team anymore.

I was happy they grabbed Fields, signed Moore, and traded down from #1, but the GM is questionable, the coaching is terrible, the OL and defense are awful....Kind of hard to win game in the NFL with only a QB/WR/TE.

If they somehow manage to end up with #1 and #2 in the draft, I'll tune in. I kind of like the idea of trading down out of #1 for picks and then grabbing Harrision Jr. But at the same time, I'm not sure Fields is "the guy" to get them to the Super Bowl, regardless of who they surround him with. I think he's good enough to help them get to the playoffs, but that's not good enough.

There are going to be a lot of teams that will mortgage their future picks for Caleb Williams. Arizona has two first rounders and they're one of them. It just depends on where the Bears and Carolina both land in the end. Too many scenarios right now, and actually winning a game throws a wrench into things.

They just need Carolina to keep sucking. That's critical. That pick needs to be as high as possible. Then they decide what to do from there.

The Panthers have a brutal schedule. @DET, @MIA, vHOU, vIND, @CHI, vDAL, @TEN, @TB, @NO, vATL, vGB, @JAX, vTB. And all this with a shaky offense and a hurt defense. They legitimately could still vie with Chicago for worst record in the league.

Of course I took the Redskins D this week in FFB. This franchise just loves kicking me in the nuts.

I agree.

Fields has looked pretty good the last two weeks. They totally barfed up that Denver game and nearly did so last night again. The Bears have a good stretch of games coming with the Vikings, Raiders and Chargers I believe.

They have some draft capital either way. Just have to see how this all plays out when the regular season ends. This is obviously NOT a team that is going to compete for a championship, so they have some decisions to make. I still think this coaching staff is utterly clueless and even with a better roster of support around Fields, these are not the guys to get it done.

The front office that did that is gone now. I understand your position but I want to give Ryan Poles a shot here.

My hope is they land an LOT. Joe Alt or the kid from Penn State. It absolutely has to start on the OL.

I would load up on both lines. World beater DL with their top pick after trading down to whoever is all in on QB chasing. Three of next four picks on OL with an eye on whoever is best available falling to you mixed in with those OL. They need so much they really just need to take what the draft gives them. Bird in the hand with Fields, build a fucking team and if he ends up hurt or mediocre you can FA a good QB if your OL and defense are good. Pick up a QB with that Claypool 6th round pick - Brock Purdy is better than any QB that has suited up for thirty years for the Bears outside of Fields.
