seems so. worst thing is that they've been losing games like this throughout the Patricia era. Nothing has changed.
Patricia is going to be another branch of the Belichick Tree that cashed in on an HC job but didn't repeat that pattern of success in New England. For as good as everyone associated with that franchise has been, the Grumpy Hoody is the North Star of the Patriots. Take him away and it is all gone.
I am so curious to see what MT looks like for Chicago in the second game. Mind boggling intrigue.
i'd imagine when patricia goes jim bob quinn at GM will go also. Both have been terrible hires and set the team back another decade most likely
I am dangerously close to abandoning the Bears fandom.
I have never in my life, seen leadership so insanely tone-deaf and insulting to their fanbase than George McCaskey, Ted Phillips and the rest of the Bears leadership.
It's bad enough that they're brutally incompetent, but then they spend their entire postseason PC essentially rubbing their poor decision making and incompetence in our faces.
Bears fans everywhere are LIVID right now. I can't imagine why any fan would subject themselves to this torture anymore. We absolutely deserve so much better than this perpetual joke of a leadership team running this team into the ground and being an absolute embarrassment to us. The whole football world is laughing at this organization and the horrid leadership that completely and utterly disgraced us.
It's truly a sad day when we have to wait for Virginia to pass for us to ****ing get out of this endless cycle of mediocrity.
With the inability for us to hang with my Chicago crew on Sundays cuz of Covid, I took the year off. Being out of market in AZ helps as it's not in my face everyday and I don't bet on the NFL any longer cuz I haven't followed the NFL for 10+ years. Gotta say, didn't miss it too much besides the grub at my buddy's game watch parties (He's Serbian and makes killer Cevapi) Instead, I just hit the drive thru at Portillo's and grab a beef and a tamale boat and get the honey-do list done in the afternoons.

Does Pace mortgage the next quarter century and deal our
2021-2046 first round draft pick and Roquan
for D.Watson?
Let's discuss
Who’s he gonna throw too? Robinson is all but gone in my opinion. That leaves little options and we have terrible draft capital as it is.
I didn't put in italics. But gotta say, I hope that Pace has zero part in the QB decision moving forward. Not signing Arob long term will haunt us for quite a while. He's elite.
Yeah I won’t really consider the bears anywhere close to a decent organization while he gets to be GM
If you were Meyer, would trade the #1 overall for Watson? Concerning the Bears, I'd give Houston anything they asked for, but does Watson have any say where he would go? If so, why would he come here? No O-line, no coach, #1 receiver about the leave town, McCaskey's your boss, what else?

I wouldn’t. Would rather have Lawrence on a rookie deal the next four years than Watson.

Wait, there are Portillo's in AZ?
I would not trade the #1 overall pick for Watson. Although Watson is a proven commodity, Lawrence on his rookie deal gives you a window to "win now" for a team like the Jags that you won't have with Watson. If you draft Lawrence, you can also go out and spend over the next three years on pieces to support him.
If you're Watson, you can try to angle for certain teams but realistically he only has so much leverage. If he puts in a bunch of demands... say "I only want to go to New England, New York, New Orleans, etc."... then the odds of him getting traded at all go way down. If he's serious about getting traded, then he should put no restrictions on where he ends up.
The Bears trading for Watson would draw too much negative attention to the front office that passed on Watson in order to draft Mitch Trubisky. I don't think they could stomach the PR hit.
There should be. I spent a week in Phoenix a few weeks ago and everyone I met was a Chicago transplant.
Wait, there are Portillo's in AZ?
