congrats to New York...

but I've said it before, this is why expanded playoffs fail when it comes to giving us the best team for that year... no one can tell me the Jets were better than the Chargers this season... and if you drop the "win it when it counts" then you prove my point for me... EVERY game should count... like what's that sport... you know the one, where every game counts... oh yeah cfb... ;)

NFL had it right when it was two division champs going directly to the Conference Championship Game... then you knew you were seeing the four best teams playoff for the title.... which is fine... but when they brought the wildcard in and came with a third division it watered the whole sport down imo

I just don't see how people can sit and watch a three hour game nullify the entire regular season sample in the NFL playoffs and be fine with it...

just my two cents

I think the Charger's kicker may have lost a few friends tonight. Cowboys didn't choke as much as Vikings spanked them.

ACamp, couldn't agree more. College bucketball is worse. They play 20 something, then have a friggen tournament? Hey! Let's give everyone a ribbon!

Let's have more bowl games!

Maybe Dallas should sign Kaeding?

Romo is the shit. They were simply spanked by a ready defense. Oops, haven't we talked about defense winning championships?

I really liked the Viking offensive "pass action play." Offense is creative. Defense is solid. Vikings gonna be tough to beat.

Interesting to see 2 Hispanics (Antonio Romo and Sanchez) lead NFL teams this far. Viva la Raza.

Kaeding broke his leg a bit back and is setting records. Gotta feel for the guy, yet also be superimpressed. Wait. I want his money. (And Kiffin's wife. I hear we gonna be neighbors. Muahhhh).

It pains me so to see Brian Schottenheimer do well..... Well, not really, but.... :)

When his dad was the head coach here in Cleveland, he was a member of our main rival travel league baseball team...Played them a lot....pretty good hitter...played first base. Also, played him a couple of times in basketball. Give 'em hell next week Colts!!! I don't want to see his mug on the screen come Super Bowl Sunday. ;)

The pro game lost me 10 yrs ago but I do pull for the Stillers since I'm from the Pitts area. Glad to see Rivers out, he seems like a 'real 'I me' guy.

You couldn't be more wrong but ill let this one slide. The Chargers have been through the most out of all the teams in the history of the leauge. I am tired of the Chargers beating the Chargers year after year.

Could a Jets-Saints Super Bowl be any LESS compelling???

Too much Trojan flavor for me. Although I could stand for about 250 camera pans to "Sweet Ass" Kardashian during the game. Deelish.

Jets defense is playing lights out. I think the Colts are going to regret letting them in the playoffs.

Jets-Saints Super Bowl would blow. Overrated Mark Sanchez and the boys would get curbstomped by Brees and the Saints.

Kim Kardashian, deelish? I've had enough of seeing her dumb ass and her equally clueless sisters stumble around like morons on television.

Who's surprised the Chargers choked? They do this every year like an annual ritual.

Hahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Panting

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

All Raider fans born after the Sea Serpent took contol of the team says hi.

All Raider fans would know "the Sea Serpent" is the only owner the team has ever had.....

and that you've won three super bowls with him...

sorry, even the lower lucked fan bases talking to Browns fans about their "bad luck" is like Cleveland Indian fans whining to Cubs fans about not winning a World Series

Good point. I'm 24. All I know of the Raiders is their perpetual misery.

I heard that Nate Kaeding was so distraught after the loss to the Jets yesterday that he tried to hang himself in the locker room. Only thing that prevented him being successful was that he couldn’t kick the chair out from under himself.

The Chargers losing isnt any surprise to a Raider fan...SD cant win a superbowl, Raider fans know this. Raider fans know that it doesnt matter how many games the chargers win in the regular season, they wont win the superbowl. They will lose.

I actually knew a time when the Raiders were good, that must seriously date me. I must admit, I was a kid in the mid 80's going to Raider games with my father while he had season tix.

Then, Plunkett got hurt.......

You hear what happened after he screwed that up? He got a gun. He kept trying to put a bullet in his head, but they all went wide right.

Yeah, seems like he also tried to overdose on sleeping pills but he choked on the first 3.....

a bit unrelated, I heard this year Kaeding and his wife eventually adopted a child from Asia after he finally gave up trying to hit his wife between the uprights. :football:

Well... the other thing with Nate is that his wife is actually a concert pianist. That being said, Kaeding tried to slit his wrists with piano wire from his wife's Grand Piano. He couldn’t get his hands inside the upright.
