Chargers Choke?

Give a team a little crack and they are going to bust down the door. When you have chance to put a team out of their misery, you do it.

The Colts will need to come out and play as bad as they did against the Bears in 2008 for them to lose.

The make up of the Colts, is alot like the makeup of the SD Super Chokers. The Colts prolly have a couple more weapons (options) and a better QB than SD, but I think Peyton Manning will need to step up his game to insure a win. If the Colts get complacent, the effin Jets will win, their defense is too good. The Oline for the Colts has to keep those defenders out of Manning's face.

Plus, in the week 15 game, Garcon didn't play. Freeney and Mathis were limited. So was Antonio Johnson and Dan Muir.

Players that didn't play in the Colts-Jets game for the Colts:

Robert Mathis, Pierre Garcon, Charlie Johnson, Matt Stover, Clint Session, Jerraud Powers.

Players who were limited.

Daniel Muir, Antonio Johnson, Dwight Freeney, Joseph Addai.

Beating the Colts JV is meaningless. The fact that it was 29-15 with that team shows how good the Colts are.

The reason why there is a huge Jets bandwagon is because

A. People want the big market East Coast team to be in the Super Bowl.
B. The Colts are too good too often.
C. People don't want to admit that resting the starters is a good strategy. The Colts and Saints moving on to the Super Bowl would completely solidify that theory.
D. People are mad that the Colts didn't go for 16-0 even though Polian and the Colts don't owe them anything.
E. They are teh suck.

And for my third post, the Colts offense is nothing like the Chargers. The Chargers offense relies on the big play. The Colts don't need that. The Colts won the time of possession easily against the Ravens without running the ball. The Colts offense is so much more consistent than the Chargers. There are very few games where the Colts come out and can't put up 20 points on the board.

People are forgetting that the Colts put up 2 touchdowns and a field goal on the "amazing" Jets D in 2 and a half quarters and it would have been more if Manning didn't overthrow Reggie Wayne on a sure 60 yard TD. The Jets D is so overrated. Blitzing doesn't work against Peyton, and Revis is the only good player in that secondary.
