Chansi has done well this year. It’s clear Rico isn’t ready for a full time gig but he hung in there all night. Even getting a DPI call late in the game. Greathouse has been great and can only imagine yesterday would’ve been a huge coming out party for him if it wasn’t for his injury.

Next season the WR group is going to be deep.

So it’s not a big deal that two of the guys he directly recruited and are both true freshman have seen significant snaps and have both made big plays to help this team win in various games this season? That’s not a small feat. Are there things he can improve on? Sure. Does he have his hands full at the moment? Definitely. Is it partly on him as a coach to help Tobias realize his potential? Partly. But Stuckey is no Del. Not even close.
Stuckey has shown he’s a better recruiter than del, but not better at coaching yet, hope that changes

I tried to point that out last year, Long and BK really dropped the ball in offensive skill player recruiting in '19 and '20 classes. The only two guys that really panned out were Mayer and Kyren, the rest transferred or never lived up to potential.
The 19 class is what put me over the edge needing major change

It is likely to be something like: Thomas, Greathouse, Tobias, Tyree, Flores, James, Williams, Gilbert. Not bad at all.

We don't have a senior receiver on this team they have zero guys from 2020 then you have colzie who was highly recruited styles transferred and thomas was a 300 ranked player then all you have the next year is Tobias and then you finally have a big class in 2023 you don't have the numbers some guys don't pan out so when you recruit 1 player in a year it really screws you over
Hey buddy, don’t be afraid to throw some punctuation in your post. You must be outta breath.

Interested to see Kaleb (KK) Smith and if he's going to be a contributor. He was an interesting late snag away from TT by stuckey.

Is he on like the seven-year plan? (I'm fine with it but feels like he's been with us forever).

Probably want to bring in a transfer if possible. A big-bodied guy to upgrade from Colzie (assuming he transfers out). A Benny Skow type would be just fine.

Tyree would be a 5th year guy. Played 3 years as rb, 1 year at wr. Has the COVID year still

Stuckey might be okay but ND just needs to go out and get the best coaches at every position. He is gone for that reason in my book.

Stuckey is probably the safest on our staff, as he should be.

Our WRs have shown flashes. They’re also banged up. Del left us with absolutely nothing - you can’t totally rebuild from that in a year and 6 games.

Let our young guys continue to grow, bring in Cam Williams and I really do think brighter days are ahead here.

Rebuilding is one thing, but I think a few of us still expected more from the wide out group. Even average wide receivers can get open most of the time.

He also didn’t have much to work with when he arrived. The ‘23 class was lovely, but none of them have shown to be immediate impact like a Michael Floyd.

He also doesn’t have the luxury of rebuilding the room via the transfer portal. There’s a smaller pool to work with. His guy, Kaleb Smith, wasn’t particularly shining with the 2’s or 3’s, so it’s fair to say it was a poor evaluation and projection on his part.

Not good when your new #1 WR is a walk on no one had heard of before tonight.

I agree with the first part. However the second part is not true. He has been the scout team player of the week like 4 times. He name has come up plenty of times.

Stucky is the last guy I worry about. Tobias was struggling so he demoted him for Flores. He's doing fine.
