1. 85 man roster. It's so simple there has to be a reason it hasn't happened yet. I think it's a limitation on memory space the systems can utilize.
2. Faster processing power (Xbox 360)/ better programming so it doesn't take 45 minutes to get through the 5 weeks of recruiting in the offseason. I literally go and do something else for the 15-20 minutes it takes to get through week 5 to signing day. This is kind of the same as #1.
3. An option to skip the booth review, penalty calls and the time between quarters. Either a button or a selection in the setting menu. There have also been a couple times that I score between the hashes without getting tackled, it gets reviewed and the ball ends up on the inch line. There are obviously still some bugs with it that need to get worked out before '13 comes out.
4. Cornerbacks/Safeties with eyes in the back of their head and ridiculous jumping linebackers need to be removed. It's ridiculous. One safety with his back turned should not be able to guard three receivers once the ball's in the air.
5. Speed differences need to be more apparent.
6. Make diving and jumping worth a crap for receivers. A 6-6 receiver should win the battle between a 5-9 corner on the fade route and diving shouldn't slow you down.
7. More penalties. Not like '11 where you got a facemask every single play but maybe once every 10 plays or so. Teams should average 5-10 penalties a game not a season.
8. Make ND 6 star prestige.
There are so many more.
The best single change they need to do is fire Ben Haumiller and the entire production crew.
Yep... if that dog was gonna hunt it wouldn't have by now... instead the franchise has gone from one of the best sports games out there five/six years ago to one of total stagnation that has now been lapped by MLB the Show, NBA 2K, Fifa and others...
if I weren't such a cfb guy I would just simply give up on this game.... but...

The two I put in bold you can adjust through the settings menu.

I have found a REALLY good slider set that has made the gameplay much more realistic for me on All-American w/out the Heisman cheating. They were created by a ND fan too!!!

Im kind of a nerd when it comes to these games. I have been playing them for ever like alot of you. One thing that I think is big is that the players drop picks all the time. When i play with ND it seems like I cant get picks, It will hit blanton or gray in the hands and they will drop it. The other team will even drop it so the computer acnt even catch them. So I think thats another big thing that people dident say.
Well, one thing that could use a fixing (but I regularly take advantage of lol) is that recruits categorized as Athletes are often overlooked by almost every school until the very end of the process. It makes it possible to get absolute studs with little competition.
DAMN Come on Barry!!!!!! If that ain't a b!tch slap directed at ND after this last season I don't know what is. I hate USC, I hate BC, I fng hate the little sister of the poor up north, I hate Urban Liars and the osu, I hate Georgia just because, I hate FSU bastArds, and really? really? that wHore in Texas?NCAA Football 13 Cover Athlete
RGIII is the cover athlete plus.....
"Beginning March 12, fans can log on to the EA SPORTS NCAA FootballFacebook page to vote for one of eight Heisman Trophy winners to accompany Griffin III on the cover of NCAA Football 13. The candidates include former University of Southern California running back Marcus Allen, former Boston College quarterback Doug Flutie, former The Ohio State University running back Eddie George, former The University of Michigan wide receiver Desmond Howard, former Oklahoma State University running back Barry Sanders, former University of Georgia running back Herschel Walker, former Florida State University quarterback Charlie Ward and former University of Houston quarterback Andre Ware."
I hate that I HAVE to have a FB for ND. ND doesn't use one, so why should I have to have one?
Also, RTG end of game take about 5 minutes with every replay. This needs to be skippable.
85 man rosters and make it so you can't cut unless they get hurt or become academically ineligible.
Add those to things in more often. More career ending injuries and have players make off the field and classroom mistakes.
Better defensive playbooks. ND runs a 3-4 but doesn't have a single 4-3 play in the playbook? All I got for now.
I read somewhere that 85 man rosters destroy their memory or something like that.
That being said, you can just limit yourself from over signing.
I keep strict rules:
There must be
4 qb
4 hb
2 fb
6 wr
4 te
6 ot
6 g
2 c
3-4 defense
6 de
4 dt
6 olb
4 mlb
6 cb
3 fs
3 ss
1 k
1 p
The remaining spots are saved for any 5 star prospect that wants in.
-I only recruit players of need that have me in their top 3 to start the season. That way I don't load up on 4 and 5 stars at every position.
-I only recruit positions of need period, unless a 5 star has me in his top 3.
-You can't cut a player for a more talented Freshman!
-Only take kids that you have room for!
This makes you really consider who to offer because if they commit, they're on your team for 4-5 years.
-I do sometime have to recruit other positions to later convert for depth. (Power rb's for fb's, OT's for G's, and DT's for DE's)
It really keeps the talent level down, keeps the game competitive, and stops the cutting of players.
