yeah I love recruiting in this game to begin with... now that you can unlock hard data on them with the scouting engine.......... fugetaboutit

While I am not surprised to not see a single pass-interference call in 8 games, I was pleased to see wide receivers "swim" around defensive backs blocking their routes. Gives a more natural, disrupt the route's timing, more organic feel to the passing game. Thus, fixing my number one gripe about the passing game (yes, even slightly before super linebackers). Combining this with the new act and react passing system and you can color me a happy panda.

Yes play station store, then search demos and download.

the new scouting feature you can unlock a recruits speed, agility, acceleration. etc. For example 92 speed, 89 agility, 90 accerleration.

The new scouting system sounds cool but did they get rid of the recruiting roulette thing this year? I hate hate HATE that thing. Why should I be forced to discuss Facilities if my facility rating sucks and the kid has low interest? I liked the system in 09 better, where you could call the kid and talk to them, but had to be careful about talking too long and pissing them off.

not for sure but in one interview the producer said they (EA) 'looked bad' with all the new unis last year that weren't in the game... then he said even Notre Dame had four different helmets last year...

his point was that a point of emphasis this year would be unis... not just from last year but this year also...

SOoooooo... it is assumed all four uni combos from last year will be in... time will tell

What are their ratings?

Atkinson is an 82, but his speed is 97.

Golson is an 86 overall, with 88 speed if I remember the video correctly. I know his acceleration rating is a bit low (70s) for my taste though, so I will do some very light tweaking like every year. There was a video posted in this thread recently that has player ratings for every team if you want to go check it out for yourself.

To compare, Tommy has 76 spd and 77 acc hahahaha wow...quicker than Everett? Really EA? Come on

They have been doing that for years with QBs... if the speed is high the acc is lowered to keep it from being robo-qb... not sure if that's the right answer for super quarter backs, but that's the one they have given for years... it seems to be the only way to seperate the Vick's, Robinson's, and Newton's of the world from just some qb who happens to be speedy.

I am really liking the Demo... if the game plays, looks and sounds this way it seems as though they finally made a good version of this thing on the current generation... add the recruiting enhancements and I'm a happy panda.

Wow Gunner Kiel is a 70 as a freshman and we have 3 QB's that are 85 or above...it's going to be so fun using the Irish this year

The demo this year is absolutely wonderful. The hits are a way too hard, but I can live with it.
