The game wasn’t close on the stat sheet(outgained them by 300), but penalties and mental errors killed them. Felt like a team looking ahead a bit.

Notre Dame was definitely not as focused as they needed to be for this one. Sloppy tackling on defense, and the run fits were not consistent or good. Another clown show week officiating wise. Central Michigan definitely had some questionable low hits and twisting of the leg on Hartman - hope it's nothing serious. Estime is a tank. Coaching staff can go to town on the players with this game film to get them laser focused for Ohio State. Can't wait til next week.

Really productive game from the WRs as a group. Four players with 60+ yards.

We were sloppy in some elements and missed a couple of key defenders which had its impact. And I don't usually fall into the "refs were crap" crowd, but they were crap.

We did however put up 40+ for the 4th straight game AND nearly 600 yards on offense this week

They were clearly looking forward and it hurt us.

Tommy calling this game with Buchner at the helm would have been a razor thin victory that resulted in a dozen or more bans in the Gameday thread.


It would have been a combination of Buchner being horrible, and TR getting cute and refusing to ride the horses to victory.

Knowing that did not happen today is also nice, because I can vividly see that outcome in my tortured mind.
