I've heard Wrigley is awful for football anyways. I think NW played the U of I sometime there in the 2000s and they could only have offensive drives go one way because the other endzone wasn't full size.

Football on baseball fields just shouldn't happen period, IMO.

Da Bears played at Wrigley for about 50 years.

ND has gone against the grain of what others are doing for years, and they have also been trend setters. So, going with the flow and doing what everyone else is doing would not be the norm for ND. So, in some sense, you're a fan of a version of ND that is not reality.

Pretty silly to not have the game. This game is in Lambeau yeah? ND is in the B1G footprint. If the point of this policy is to prevent a bunch of travel/flights...then it has less of an impact than plenty of their conference games.

ACC has said they plan on helping ND out with games if necessary right? Or am I making that up?

The point isn't exclusive to travel. Its about flexibility.
