MF could have retired one day into the job with more meaningful wins than BK, Weis, Willingham, and Davie combined.

Colin Hurley, one of the top signal callers in the 2025 class, is reclassifying to 2024 and has committed to Brian Kelly's LSU Tigers.

I don’t know what this means. Kelly had ND winning. Prior to that he was winning at Cincy. Prior to that at GVSU. He earned the right to his LSU contract. Pretty clear he is a banksble Top Tier HC - unfortunately most ND fans are loathed to admit that.

I don’t know how you can quantify that. I would wager there was more shade thrown from SEC fans towards LSU than some butt-hurt Irish fans. Except now that BK is trending up, LSU fans conveniently forget that b/c of their Lemming mentality when it comes to rooting for a conference so it was ALL ND fans who were saying he couldn’t recruit & wasn’t a cultural fit. Horseshit, I live & work in SEC country and the majority of SEC fans were negative towards the hire. I know b/c I defended BK.

What obvious results? Shitty special teams play resulting in a loss to an inferior team and getting runoff the field by a top tier team? That’s Kelly’s entire ND carrier in a nutshell.

Now, if LSU beats Bama tomorrow it’s a different conversation.

High School football can be hilarious. Rewatch that clip with eyes on the TE who caught the TD. He plows the defender and then turns and waves his arms since he is now wide open. No call. Haha. I can understand a kid wanting to stay in High School but it will be silly watching him beat up on his peers if he stays.

Good question! I simply went on the various websites and made two columns those Notre Dame fans that were totally butt hurt like little bitches that Kelly would leave for money and wouldn’t admit how he was the HC that turned the program around and was a consistent winner And since he never won a national title he was a failure at Notre Dame and not admitting the hurdles at Notre Dame. Versus those they were not whiny and we’re fine with the state of the program That Kelly got us to being a top five consistent winner but not winning a national title.I added both comes up and it came out that 95% of the Notre Dame fans were butt hurt and didn’t want to give Kelli his due as A top-tier coach. I’m sure now many of those fans realize Kelly did add a lot of value now that Freeman is clearly struggling.
