And then she came home with a pile of beads and you had so many questions but were placated by authentic bottles of Crystal hot sauce?
The professionalism comes in handling your business off the field, because anything that can come back to distract your performance on the field is a detriment to the self and team. But when playing, passion is the ingredient that makes discipline nearly an impossible force to deal with. ND was acting like they had beat Miami because they were the better team on paper. The only time I really trusted Kelly as a coach was when he was an outright jerk. When he started acting like his sh*t didn’t stink was a good indicator of a potential loss, because the team would follow suit, and this was the Miami game.Emotion > professional
Kelly was also asked about the future of Notre Dame amid all the conference realignment rumors and happenings. Here was his response:
“It’s not been high on my list of things to think about. I’ve been trying to correct my slice the last two weeks.”
Always a measure of truth in good humor. . .![]()

Most notable quote
Oh Brian.
Surprised he didn't throw out a . . .I really wish the 2nd time he would have thrown on a southern drawl to try and relate to them
***oh wait, wrong accent, need to switch it up***
I just think that after the last coach the media room is not use to being able to understand a word the coach says. One think I will say he has lost a tone of weight. He does come off as a bit of a douche. I think he was hoping for some entry applause. Like a comedian not getting any laughs. A disgruntled gym coach.
I never want Brian Kelly to make the playoffs, let alone win a playoff gameYou have a couple of years to prepare yourself for that.
The big deal is when he goes undefeated and loses to US in the championship game.
THAT's what I'm looking forward to: Old Coach beats Alabama, and New Coach beats Old Coach.
I don't think you have to worry about it. The received opinion is that Brian Kelly found the ceiling of Notre Dame football; my guess is we'll see it was the other way around.I never want Brian Kelly to make the playoffs, let alone win a playoff game

The hatred makes everybody immersed in it miss the point: BIG time athletes are going to come to LSU.
There are three LSU-vet TV announcers; all of them say that. Orgeron won. Kelly is better than him.
My unaltered view is that I want him to beat Alabama; I'd even grit my teeth and want A&M to beat Alabama.
That ultimately levels the recruitment field --- and we don't worry so much that our Keeley's are poached by
the insatiable bast@rds. ..... Big picture, gentlemen.
LSU always gets players. They arguably had the greatest college football team of all time. Of course LSU announcers are gonna build up Kelly, and being better than Orgeron isn’t exactly a compliment. The hatred makes everybody immersed in it miss the point: BIG time athletes are going to come to LSU.

Marcus Freeman is a first time head coach. That makes no sense. LolLet them all beat Alabama --- more "Ls" the better for us.
And as for Ausberry, first year and competing vs Coach Freeman.
Who's going to win most of those?
People need to take the poles out of their butts on this issue.

I think if Bama had a 3 or 4 loss season it would make my year.Let them all beat Alabama --- more "Ls" the better for us.

I don't give two fucks what he does before practice. Win games especially the big ones.Freeman woke up and went for a run before the first fall practice. BK can’t keep up with that energy.
Tbh this comment nullifies anything else you assert. If you can’t understand why he didn’t get Ausberry, then you really have no leg to stand on with your assertions.I’m not convinced. If he can’t even get Ausberry, he’s not going to recruit well enough to beat Bama in the playoffs. Bama will finish first. BK will be lucky to match his recruiting class from last year at ND. I get that it’s his first year and he may really kill it next year, but his track record isn’t super great and he’s an undeniable dick that never developed an elite QB in 12 years. That does matter to southern kids that have an abounance of choices. I think Bama wins those head to head recruiting battles 90% of the time. I’d rather see ND, Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson, USC, Texas beat Bama than LSU.
I do understand why. Because he's a Notre Dame kid!Tbh this comment nullifies anything else you assert. If you can’t understand why he didn’t get Ausberry, then you really have no leg to stand on with your assertions.
I’m not a BK fan, and find his Farmer Fran schtick super disingenuous…but he’ll do as well there as he did at ND. I’ll root against him every time he isn’t playing Bama or ATM though.
