I have to give Kelly for having the guts to pull the trigger and leave. All these negative stories that are popping up and negative two faced commentaries is really pathetic. Let the man go. I don't think he will succeed (win NC) at LSU because his football philosophy has fatal flaws. My belief is that he left Notre Dame because he wants to coach in the NFL. If he succeeds at LSU, he might get a phone call. Also, Freeman and his bizarre cult may have pushed to move on. No one likes to hear about potential successors and such chatter likely irked Kelly's ego.

Again how can we have a like option without a dislike option

After some reflection I think he was just ready for a change. Watching the past few days it’s clear the fan base was.

LSU boards are saying Elston was there today. Apparently a player told a poster that the “ND D line coach” was there.

It’s most definitely a mistaken identity because Elston was out recruiting.

Really I’m just interested to see who it actually was.

I would assume it was Quinn and they mixed up DL and OL.

Thanks for checking in.

That there is a lot of words to use while not making a point.

Kudos.

Seriously, if some dumb ass consultant or something tells you to talk like that, you tell them to shut the fuck up, and deliver your speech in the thickest prep-school masshole accent you can muster.

My favorite tweet this week was:

How TF Kelly gonna live in Louisiana? Dude look like he think Sprite is too spicy.

He needed more Will Hunting and less Bobby Boucher.

Or, and hear me out on this, Kelly showed his true colors and people are pissed and feel betrayed. I'm sure he wants to coach in the NFL...he has since 2012. But the NFL isn't calling him anymore. At least fat boy Weis wanted to be here. I don't believe Kelly ever did. ND was a means to an end to him. The end he wanted never came so he jumped on a fanboat and traded in his caviar for crawfish. And that's how he'll be remembered: as the fat little shit that flopped in Baton Rouge after the Hummer-selling, bibb overall-wearing, crazy guy from The Waterboy got canned.

LSU 2019-2021 3 straight top 5 Recruiting Classes

ND 2019-2021 15th, 9th, 14th - So an average of about 12th/year.

LSU has better players coming in, and next year a QB coming in with more upside than ND has had in roughly 3 decades.

Doink

He's rated a whole .02 points higher than ND qb next year. Lol at delusional ND fans.

"I havent even won all my games yet"

- Brian Kelly trying to endear himself in his own trademarked fashion

“I” haven’t won “my” games. He’s definitely loving all this attention he’s getting isn’t he. I have to wonder if the players are already tired of his act after two days

“Tell ‘em ‘bout it Jo Jo”

The Hummer ads & the “Colonel Reb is Crying” song from the Memphis sports radio guy were the best part of the Coach O era in Oxford.

When did "Fighting Tigers" start? Has that always been a thing, or do they think it's cute?

Yeah it’s been around. I think they use it more as a retro nickname b/c it was from back in the day…way before Nick Saban resurrected them.
